The Canadian cavalry charge on March 30, 2018 at the Battle of Moreuil Wood was one of the last great cavalry charges. A German force Occupied the wood, approximately 20 kilometres from Amiens and the Canadian Army, including members of the Royal Canadian Dragoons, Lord Strathcona’s Horse and Fort Garry Horse, rode in.
