NDWCC Final Farewell Escape Room
November 12 – December 18
When: November 12-December 18 (3 games per day)
Where: Cambridge Military Library (5460 Royal Artillery Ct., Halifax)
The NDWCC Escape Room is back this year with a new location, theme and puzzles!
Three games/day, teams of 8*, $20 per person. Games will be held Monday-Friday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. (1 hour per game). Email Joseph.Abando@forces.gc.ca, Leah.Coughlin@forces.gc.ca and Kathryn.Gatien@forces.gc.ca to book!
*If your team is smaller than 8 people you can still submit your names as there is potential to combine with another small team. Non-Defence Team members (families, friends) age 18+ welcome to participate.

NDWCC Mooseheads Jersey Raffle
December 2-12
A limited-edition, Canadian Armed Forces-themed Halifax Mooseheads jersey*will be raffled off on December 13 in support of the 2024 Halifax and Shearwater region NDWCC. Tickets will be sold from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the following locations:
- Monday, December 9: Outside of Tribute Tower Galley (S-117)
- Tuesday, December 10: 2nd floor of Base Headquarters (S-90) by elevators
- Wednesday, December 11: Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape Scott main entrance (D-200)
- Thursday, December 12: Outside of Tribute Tower Galley (S-117)

Dress with a Difference for the Holidays
December 9-20
Local Canadian Armed Forces members may wear civilian attire with Chain of Command approval for a $2 donation per day or $10 donation per week to the NDWCC. Dress With a Difference (DWAD) for the Holidays is only authorized for shore units. HMC ships are not authorized to participate in DWAD, due to the requirement for ships’ companies to be ready to respond to emergencies during working hours. Safety of personnel and military commitments must remain the top considerations before authorizing personnel to wear civilian attire. DWAD funds should be directed to NDWCC reps for collection and submission to regional treasurer. Tax receipts will not be available. Details (HALGEN).

Base Information Services Curling NDWCC Boardgames and Bonspiel Day
February 6, 2025
Join Base Information Services for a fun day of boardgames and curling at the CFB Halifax Curling Club in support of the NDWCC. No experience necessary. Maximum 12 teams of fours (48 curlers). Email Lt Adams at connor.adams@forces.gc.ca by January 16 to reserve your spot.
When: February 6, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: CFB Halifax Curling Club (6441 Hawk Terrace)
$20 per ticket (includes food and curling/board games). Beverages available for purchase.
All participants must sign a waiver before entering the ice shed which can be filled out in advance or completed day-of.

NDWCC Travel Party
February 20, 2025
Local Defence Team members and their guests (age 19+) are invited to a Travel Party on February 20, 2025, from 7 – 11 p.m. at Juno Tower in support of the National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign (NDWCC)! Similar to last year’s Suitcase-Travel party, this will be the final event in support and celebration of the fall 2024 campaign.
