Stadacona Christmas Service
Members of the Stadacona Band Woodwind Quintet performed during the CFB Halifax Chapel Christmas Service at the Stadacona Faith Centre, held on December 4. Padre Lt(N) Annie Lampron delivered the Christmas sermon. The service also featured the Canadian Military Wives Choir of Halifax.
Hanukkah celebrated with menorah lighting
12 Wing Shearwater’s Command team, Col Patrick MacNamara and CWO Kevin Wezenbeek, joined MARLANT padres on December 13 for a menorah lighting outside Wing headquarters. The small event marked the third year in a row that 12 Wing has celebrated the Jewish “festival of lights.”

Course underway for new ship’s divers
While members of Fleet Diving Unit (Atlantic) got ready for their annual charity run, the participants of Ship’s Divers Course 022 were busy honing their diving skills with the unit. Recent tests in the water for the prospective divers included jetty searches and maintenance routines with HMCS Fredericton.
