***ePledge payroll deduction deadline is November 22, 2024, for Canadian Armed Forces and Non-Public Funds members and is December 5, 2024 for civilians. Once the payroll deduction deadlines pass, the only option to ePledge will be via a one time/monthly credit card or PayPal payment until December 31, 2024.***
Welcome to the 2024 National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign (NDWCC) in the Halifax and Shearwater region!
The NDWCC, as part of the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign, is a charitable giving option developed exclusively for federal public servants and federal retirees. The NDWCC provides Defence Team members with a direct line to donate to over 86,000 charities, including numerous organizations with strong ties to Canada’s military.
The NDWCC campaign in the Halifax region, organized in collaboration with United Way Halifax each fall, is part of the local Defence Team’s commitment to making a substantial and positive social impact in our neighbourhoods and communities.
Defence Team members in the Halifax and Shearwater region, both military and civilian, are encouraged to participate in any way they can, whether it be donating through ePledge, payroll deductions or credit card; planning a virtual or in-person event or participating in fundraisers, raffles and lotteries; or volunteering in the community. Each individual contribution matters.
