After wrapping up a European deployment less than three months ago, His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Yellowknife is back at it. The ship departed from Halifax on January 21 en route to Operation CARIBBE.
Even as the Kingston-class Maritime Coastal Defence Vessels move toward full decommissioning in the coming years, the class continues to contribute to Royal Canadian Navy operations, with ships like HMCS Yellowknife remaining actively engaged in missions at home and abroad.
