HMCS Harry DeWolf left Halifax on August 10 for Operation Nanook 2023. On this Arctic operation, the ship will lead a multinational maritime task group with the United States Coast Guard, United States Navy, and the French Navy, participate in a variety of exercises, and conduct presence patrols in Northern waterways. The Royal Canadian Navy says this annual operation demonstrates Canada’s commitment to Arctic security.
