Base Commander Capt(N) David Mazur and local Defence Team members met with Sparky the Fire Dog after a fire drill at Base headquarters on October 7 to kick off Fire Prevention Week, which ran October 6-12. This year’s theme, “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape, Plan and Practice Your Escape” recognizes the everyday people who motivate their households to develop and practice a home fire escape plan.
