Crews used a crane to lift and move the anchor from the former HMCS Preserver on August 16. The intent is to soon have the anchor on permanent display just outside the main Stadacona gates on Gottingen Street, along with interpretive signage explaining the anchor’s significance. The work is being done as part of the Consolidated Seamanship Training Facility construction.
