The CFB Halifax Curling Club played host to the 2017 CAF Atlantic Regional Curling Championship from March 29-31, with teams from Halifax, Shearwater, Gagetown and Greenwood battling it out for the title. The final match saw the Greenwood curlers, led by skip MCpl Dave Murray, take the championship after a tie-breaking end against Gagetown. Other members of the championship team were MCpl Chuck Daborn, Sgt Rick Lindsay and MCpl Mike Kelly.
