Le Canada propose que la municipalit\u00e9 r\u00e9gionale de Halifax accueille du bureau r\u00e9gional nord-am\u00e9ricain de l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur d\u2019innovation de d\u00e9fense pour l\u2019Atlantique Nord (DIANA) de l\u2019Organisation du Trait\u00e9 de l\u2019Atlantique Nord (OTAN).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le DIANA est un nouvel organisme de l\u2019OTAN qui cr\u00e9era, en Am\u00e9rique du Nord et en Europe, un r\u00e9seau de sites d\u2019innovation coordonn\u00e9s par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire d\u2019un bureau r\u00e9gional en Am\u00e9rique du Nord (Canada) et d\u2019un bureau r\u00e9gional en Europe, lequel sera situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Londres et codirig\u00e9 par le Royaume-Uni et l\u2019Estonie.<\/span><\/p>\n

La ministre de la D\u00e9fense nationale, Anita Anand, a annonc\u00e9 cette proposition le 18 novembre alors qu'elle se trouvait \u00e0 Halifax pour participer au 14e Forum annuel d\u2019Halifax sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 internationale. La conf\u00e9rence a r\u00e9uni des responsables de la d\u00e9fense et de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, des professionnels de l'industrie, des universitaires et des leaders mondiaux pour discuter des d\u00e9fis mondiaux en mati\u00e8re de paix et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du 18 au 20 novembre.<\/span><\/p>\n

La cr\u00e9ation de DIANA a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement annonc\u00e9e par l'OTAN en avril 2022. Au Sommet de l\u2019OTAN tenu en juin 2022, le premier ministre Justin Trudeau a annonc\u00e9 l\u2019intention du Canada d\u2019accueillir le bureau r\u00e9gional nord-am\u00e9ricain du DIANA au Canada, et l\u2019OTAN a accueilli l\u2019offre du Canada.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
