CRCN Message of appreciation to Public Servants<\/h3>\n

RCN Public Servants,<\/p>\n

I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation to each member of the Royal Canadian Navy\u2019s Public Servant workforce.\u00a0Over the past two years, we have been living in unprecedented times brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The perseverance, dedication and professionalism that you have displayed in spite of these challenges has been simply outstanding.\u00a0Your resiliency, flexibility and the quality of work that you perform on a daily basis has been exemplary. You should be very proud.<\/p>\n

You are a vital members of the RCN Team. You provide the critical expertise, stability and continuity that is integral to enabling the RCN\u2019s operational output.\u00a0Before the COVID-19 pandemic, and throughout the past two years, you have supported the RCN in deploying ships and submarines to sea, meeting our NATO commitments and continuing to work with our allies around the world. The RCN has a wide and diverse public servant workforce that belongs to nine separate unions and is employed in 30 different occupational groups. Without the contributions from all of you, from frontline operational workers to behind-the-scenes support staff, the RCN\u2019s success at home and abroad would not be possible. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. On behalf of the entire RCN leadership team, thank you for all that you do for the Royal Canadian Navy, the Department of National Defence and your fellow Canadians.<\/p>\n

Je tiens \u00e0 remercier chacun des fonctionnaires de la Marine royale canadienne. Au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, nous avons connu des circonstances sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent \u00e0 cause de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19. La pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance, le d\u00e9vouement et le professionnalisme dont vous avez fait preuve en d\u00e9pit de toutes les difficult\u00e9s sont tout simplement exceptionnels. Votre r\u00e9silience, votre souplesse et votre travail au quotidien ont \u00e9t\u00e9 exemplaires. Vous pouvez en \u00eatre tr\u00e8s fiers.<\/p>\n

Vous jouez un r\u00f4le essentiel au sein de l\u2019\u00e9quipe de la MRC. Vous fournissez l\u2019expertise, la stabilit\u00e9 et la continuit\u00e9 indispensables au rendement op\u00e9rationnel de la MRC. Avant la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19, et tout au long des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, vous avez aid\u00e9 la MRC \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer des navires et des sous-marins en mer, \u00e0 respecter nos engagements envers l\u2019OTAN et \u00e0 continuer de travailler avec nos alli\u00e9s partout dans le monde. La MRC compte un effectif de fonctionnaires vaste et diversifi\u00e9 qui appartient \u00e0 neuf syndicats distincts et qui travaille dans 30 groupes professionnels diff\u00e9rents. Sans la contribution de chacun d\u2019entre vous, des travailleurs op\u00e9rationnels de premi\u00e8re ligne au personnel de soutien en coulisse, le succ\u00e8s que remporte la MRC au pays et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger ne serait pas possible. Votre assiduit\u00e9 au travail ne passe pas inaper\u00e7ue.
