12 Wing Imaging Services<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

On Thursday, November 14, 2019, 12 Wing Shearwater Chief of Staff Maj Rob Truscott presented WO Jean-Marc Grenier with his Canadian Forces\u2019 Decoration Third Clasp in recognition of his 42 years of military service. WO Grenier, originally from Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, joined the CAF Regular Force as a sonar operator in the RCN but later transferred to the RCAF as a meteorological technician. During his career, he worked in cities across Canada, deployed in 2007 to the Persian Gulf in HMCS Halifax on Op APOLLO and, in 2010, deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, with the Canadian Expeditionary Force Command. In late 2010, he transferred to the Reserve Force and worked as the 12 Wing Hazardous Materials Coordinator until his retirement on November 15. WO Grenier and his wife Brenda plan to stay in the area of Fall River, Nova Scotia, and use their free time to travel.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
