STADPLEX demolition update<\/strong><\/h3>\n

By CFB Halifax PA<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Stadacona gym (STADPLEX) exterior demolition work began at the end of September, with expected completion at the end of December. Members working near or transiting in the vicinity of the work site should expect increased noise levels and dust for the duration of the work period. The majority of the work will be completed during routine working hours (0700hrs to 1700hrs), however, some work may occur on weekends to facilitate removal of large building components. While trucks and construction vehicles will be used to remove material from work site, no traffic delays are expected. Additional work will take place at ground level once the demolition is complete. Members are asked to exercise caution as this work is completed.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9molition du STADPLEX<\/h3>\n

\u00a0Les travaux de d\u00e9molition ext\u00e9rieure du gymnase Stadacona (STADPLEX) devraient commencer \u00e0 la fin septembre et se terminer \u00e0 la fin d\u00e9cembre. Les personnes qui travaillent pr\u00e8s du chantier ou qui circulent \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du chantier doivent s’attendre \u00e0 des niveaux de bruit et de poussi\u00e8re accrus pendant toute la dur\u00e9e des travaux. La majeure partie du travail sera effectu\u00e9e pendant les heures normales de travail (de 7 h \u00e0 17 h), mais certains travaux peuvent \u00eatre effectu\u00e9s la fin de semaine pour faciliter l’enl\u00e8vement des gros \u00e9l\u00e9ments de la structure. Bien que des camions et des v\u00e9hicules de construction seront utilis\u00e9s pour retirer les mat\u00e9riaux du chantier, aucun retard de circulation n’est pr\u00e9vu. Des travaux suppl\u00e9mentaires seront effectu\u00e9s au niveau du sol une fois la d\u00e9molition termin\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
