Les marins des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC) ont profit\u00e9 de deux journ\u00e9es de comp\u00e9tition serr\u00e9e et de camaraderie lors d\u2019une r\u00e9gate r\u00e9cr\u00e9ative organis\u00e9e avec le soutien du PSP d\u2019Halifax au Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron (RNSYS) les 23 et 24 juin. Six \u00e9quipages se sont affront\u00e9s \u00e0 bord des voiliers J\/22 du club, compl\u00e9tant l'ensemble du programme de courses malgr\u00e9 une m\u00e9t\u00e9o pluvieuse le jour de l'ouverture et jusqu'au d\u00e9but de la matin\u00e9e du deuxi\u00e8me jour, avant que le soleil ne fasse son apparition pour les derni\u00e8res courses de l'apr\u00e8s-midi.<\/p>\n

Le capitaine de corvette (Capc) Kevin Pallard et la Capc Samantha Jamieson ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 l'organisation de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, avec le soutien de la PSP d'Halifax et du personnel du RNSYS. Les organisateurs ont indiqu\u00e9 que le vif int\u00e9r\u00eat suscit\u00e9 par l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement avait une nouvelle fois permis de constituer une flotte de six bateaux, offrant ainsi deux journ\u00e9es compl\u00e8tes de courses comp\u00e9titives tout en r\u00e9unissant des marins des FAC issus de l'ensemble de la communaut\u00e9 de d\u00e9fense d'Halifax. Ils ont \u00e9galement salu\u00e9 les participants pour leur attitude positive et leur esprit sportif exceptionnel tout au long de la r\u00e9gate, et ont remerci\u00e9 les officiels de course, les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles et le personnel du RNSYS pour leur soutien, qui a contribu\u00e9 au succ\u00e8s renouvel\u00e9 de cette r\u00e9gate.<\/p>\n
