Par le 14\u1d49 Escadron de g\u00e9nie construction<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La caporale Kaitlyn Heighton du 144\u1d49 Escadrille de g\u00e9nie construction (EGC) \u00e0 Pictou a suivi la Conf\u00e9rence des femmes canadiennes en aviation (CFCA) en 2026, h\u00e9berg\u00e9e au Centre Sheraton \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al du 12 au 14 mai. \u00c9tablie en 1991, la CFCA rassemble des femmes de tous les secteurs de l'industrie a\u00e9ronautique pour faire des r\u00e9seaux, pour partager des id\u00e9es et pour s'inspirer les unes des autres.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La conf\u00e9rence fournit un programme compr\u00e9hensif des pr\u00e9sentations, des s\u00e9ances en petits groupes, des ateliers et des occasions d\u2019engagement focalis\u00e9 sur le d\u00e9veloppement professionnel et l\u2019avanc\u00e9e des femmes en aviation et en a\u00e9rospatial. Cette conf\u00e9rence a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue comme l\u2019un des plus grands de son type, attirant quasiment 300 femmes en travaillant dans l\u2019industrie aviatique. Cette ann\u00e9e, 180 nominations au total \u00e9taient re\u00e7ues \u00e0 travers l\u2019\u00c9quipe de d\u00e9fense et l\u2019attendance de l\u2019Aviation royale canadienne pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 75 participants \u2014 presque le triple de l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Partout la conf\u00e9rence, Heighton a particip\u00e9 au programme, en gagnant d\u2019aper\u00e7us des tendances au courant, des d\u00e9fis et des occasions dans l\u2019industrie d\u2019aviation. Les ateliers ont soulign\u00e9 la croissance professionnelle, le d\u00e9veloppement de leadership et les topics techniques et op\u00e9rationnels pertinents aux carri\u00e8res de soutien et d\u2019aviation. Un point \u00e0 retenir \u00e9tait l\u2019importance de faire des r\u00e9seaux et du d\u00e9veloppement professionnel continu en construisant une carri\u00e8re fructueuse. Elle s\u2019est engag\u00e9e aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements de r\u00e9seautage et des salons professionnels. Heighten a eu l'occasion de participer aux tours d\u2019industrie en renfor\u00e7ant davantage l\u2019exposition aux op\u00e9rations asiatiques et aux meilleures pratiques.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La conf\u00e9rence a conclu avec le gala \u201cClear for the Future\u201d, renfor\u00e7ant l'importance du mentorat, de l'inclusion et du d\u00e9veloppement professionnel continu\u00e9 dans le secteur de l'aviation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
