FMAR(A) h\u00e9berge une vitrine photo pour la Semaine de l\u2019environnement<\/b><\/h3>\n

\u00c9tablie en 1971, la Semaine canadienne de l\u2019environnement c\u00e9l\u00e8bre les accomplissements environnementaux et encourage les individus puis les organisations \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 la conservation et \u00e0 la protection de notre environnement naturel. Align\u00e9e \u00e0 la Journ\u00e9e mondiale de l\u2019environnement le 5 juin, la Semaine canadienne de l\u2019environnement fournit une opportunit\u00e9 de reconna\u00eetre les th\u00e8mes environnementaux cl\u00e9s et de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur les actions que nous pouvons tous adopter pour soutenir un avenir plus durable. Les c\u00e9l\u00e9brations de cette ann\u00e9e ont aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 align\u00e9es \u00e0 la Journ\u00e9e de l\u2019air pur au Canada le 3 juin, soulignant encore plus l\u2019importance de prot\u00e9ger l\u2019air, la terre et l\u2019eau qui nous soutient.<\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, Forces maritimes de l'Atlantique (FMAR(A)) a marqu\u00e9 la Semaine canadienne de l\u2019environnement en soulignant l\u2019importance de l\u2019intendance environnementale, la durabilit\u00e9 et l\u2019\u00e9ducation. Partout la semaine, les FMAR(A) ont partag\u00e9 les communiqu\u00e9s \u00e0 un quotidien focalis\u00e9 sur une gamme de sujets. Ils ont inclus les impacts des esp\u00e8ces envahissantes sur les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes locaux et les fa\u00e7ons pratiques d'aider \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir leur propagation, l\u2019importance de l'air frais, les bienfaits des espaces verts pour nos communaut\u00e9s et la mission en arri\u00e8re-plan de la Journ\u00e9e mondiale de l\u2019environnement. Chaque th\u00e8me a renforc\u00e9 le r\u00f4le collectif que nous tous jouons en soutenant du changement durant et significatif environnemental.<\/p>\n

Avant la Semaine canadienne de l\u2019environnement, les membres d\u2019\u00c9quipe de d\u00e9fense ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la Vitrine photo des FMAR(A). Cette initiative a encourag\u00e9 les individus \u00e0 capturer la beaut\u00e9 et la diversit\u00e9 de l'environnement naturel autour d\u2019eux. Les photos choisies au hasard ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au communiqu\u00e9 quotidien de la Semaine d\u2019environnement, puis les soumissions additionnelles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 incluses au calendrier 2027 de la Semaine de l\u2019environnement. Les membres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 encourag\u00e9s \u00e0 revisiter les communiqu\u00e9s de la Semaine de l\u2019environnement pour voir les images pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es et apprendre plus \u00e0 propos des sujets soulign\u00e9s partout la semaine.<\/p>\n

Pendant la Semaine d\u2019environnement, FMAR(A) a aussi h\u00e9berg\u00e9 des stands \u00e0 plusieurs emplacements, incluant \u00e0 Willow Park, \u00e0 Stadacona et au Chantier naval royal de Sa Majest\u00e9. Ces stands ont fourni aux membres d\u2019\u00c9quipe de d\u00e9fense l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019engager avec le personnel des FMAR(A), de poser des questions et d\u2019apprendre davantage sur la mani\u00e8re dont les FMAR(A) travaillent \u00e0 soutenir l\u2019intendance environnementale, les objectifs de durabilit\u00e9 et la protection des esp\u00e8ces \u00e0 risque Merci \u00e0 tous ceux qui ont visit\u00e9 les stands et qui ont partag\u00e9 leurs exp\u00e9riences et aussi les actions prises par eux et leurs communaut\u00e9s pour prot\u00e9ger l\u2019environnement.<\/p>\n

Au lieu du Chantier naval royal, les FMAR(A) ont accueilli avec plaisir Ru Yap, coordinatrice de la sensibilisation au d\u00e9veloppement durable avec le Contrat de performance de BFC Halifax, qui a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 2021. Ru a fourni des mises \u00e0 jour sur le progr\u00e8s du projet et a soulign\u00e9 une de ses initiatives les plus passionnantes: le r\u00e9seau solaire \u00e0 12\u1d49 Escadre Shearwater. Ce projet inclura 1 428 panneaux solaires, pr\u00e9vus pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer suffisamment d\u2019\u00e9nergie pour alimenter approximativement 90 maisons n\u00e9o-\u00e9cossaises chaque ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Tandis que la Semaine de l\u2019environnement a termin\u00e9, ces valeurs et objectifs restent pertinents partout l\u2019ann\u00e9e. La protection environnementale requiert un effort collectif, et chacun de nous a un r\u00f4le \u00e0 jouer.
