Apr\u00e8s presque deux moins en traversant l\u2019oc\u00e9an Pacifique, la voyage de sous-marin la plus longue en histoire de Cor\u00e9e de Sud s\u2019est uni officiellement deux marines Alli\u00e9es en Esquimalt.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le 23 mai les vaisseaux visitant et le personnel \u00e0 bord le ROKS Dosan Ahn Changho, un sous-marin de la classe Dosan-ahn Changho et la ROKS Daejeon, un fr\u00e9gate de la classe Daegu, sont arriv\u00e9s en Esquimalt tel partie d'un engagement international avec la Marine royale canadienne (MRC) et les Forces maritimes Pacifiques (FMP). La visite de deux semaines approfondira le partenariat existant entre les deux marines et renforcer le r\u00f4le continu\u00e9 tel Alli\u00e9 international comptable. L'arriv\u00e9e du ROKS Dosan Ahn Changho \u00e9tait historique aussi avec sa travers\u00e9e trans-Pacifique de 14,000 kilom\u00e8tres repr\u00e9sentant le voyage le plus long jamais entrepris par un sous-marin de Cor\u00e9e du Sud.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L'esprit de la collaboration internationale \u00e9tait \u00e9vident m\u00eame avec le ROKS Dosan Ahn Chang-ho a atteint des eaux canadiennes. Pendant la derni\u00e8re \u00e9tape du voyage de Hawaii \u00e0 Esquimalt, les marins de la Marine de la R\u00e9publique cor\u00e9enne ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rejoint par les marins de MRC, Capitaine de corvette (capc) Britty Bourgeois et Ma\u00eetre de 2e classe (m 2) Jake Dixon tel partie d'une occasion d'\u00e9change bilat\u00e9ral avec l'Operation REGULUS. \u00c0 bord le ROKS Dosan Ahn Changho, les marins canadiens ont particip\u00e9 aux \u00e9volutions d'entra\u00eenement, aux routines op\u00e9rationnelles et aux exercices de communication avec les Forces maritimes du Pacifique en utilisant des syst\u00e8mes combin\u00e9s de commande, de contr\u00f4l, de communication, d'ordinateur et d'intelligence. L'exp\u00e9rience a offert une occasion rare pour diriger d'int\u00e9gration op\u00e9rationnelle entre les deux marines et renforc\u00e9 le niveau d'interop\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 croissant entre le Canada et la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique cor\u00e9enne.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Surtout la visite, les marins de la MRC et de la Marine de la R\u00e9publique cor\u00e9enne ont l'occasion de participer aux op\u00e9rations conjointes, aux \u00e9changes professionnels, aux activit\u00e9s culturelles puis aux engagements communautaires avec intention \u00e0 fortifier la coop\u00e9ration et la compr\u00e9hension mutuelle. Le 24 mai, une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de d\u00e9p\u00f4t de couronnes eut lieu au C\u00e9notaphe Victoria o\u00f9 les membres de la MRC et de la Marine de la R\u00e9publique cor\u00e9enne se sont recueillis pour honorer leur navale histoire partag\u00e9e. Avec les membres de la Musique Naden fournissant du support musical, l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement a rendu hommage au service et au sacrifice des marins des deux marines avec les v\u00e9t\u00e9rans de la Guerre de Cor\u00e9e en attendant.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le 25 mai, une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie accueillant eut lieux au Chantier naval canadien de Sa Majest\u00e9 (CNCSM) BFC Esquimalt. Pendant l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement, les membres de l'ambassade de la R\u00e9publique cor\u00e9enne, la marine, les ambassadeurs, les m\u00e9dias et les membres de la communaut\u00e9 \u00e9taient officiellement accueilli \u00e0 la base militaire par le leadership de la MRC et par des autres membres cl\u00e9 de la communaut\u00e9. Le matin a inclu: une performance des danseurs autochtone Lekwungen; la pr\u00e9sentation des fleurs au leadership naval cor\u00e9en par les enfants cor\u00e9en-canadien et les cadets de MRC; un traditionnel \u00e9v\u00e9nement cor\u00e9en de m\u00e9lange d'eau; et des discours de leadership des deux nations. En suivant l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement formel, les m\u00e9dias canadien \u00e9tait invit\u00e9 \u00e0 bord le ROKS Daejeon et le ROKS Dosan Anh Changho pour des tours des deux vaisseaux.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le 27 mai, la Musique Naden de MRC ont rejoint la groupe musique de la Marine de la R\u00e9publique de cor\u00e9e pour un concert formel au th\u00e9atres Royal et McPherson. Avec plus que 250 attendants d\u00e9sireux \u00e0 voir la collaboration rare. Tous les buts de la soir\u00e9e ont soutenu Wounded Warriors Canada.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
