Le f\u00e9vrier, Les installations de maintenance de la Flotte (IMF) Cape Scott a collabor\u00e9 efficacement avec la Marine Nationale pour conduire du testing de Link 22 (L-22) (L<\/span>\u201122) avec le Navire fran\u00e7ais (NF)\u00a0<\/span>Bretagne<\/span><\/i>\u00a0puis un h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re NH-90<\/span>\u201190 Ca\u00efman.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cela a marqu\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re fois que les IMF Cape Scott se sont conduit du testing de L-22 avec un a\u00e9ronef et la troisi\u00e8me fois qu'elles se sont travaill\u00e9es avec la Marine fran\u00e7aise. En 2020, les IMF Cape Scott a test\u00e9 le L-22 avec le NF\u00a0<\/span>Normandie<\/span><\/i>, compl\u00e9tant avec du succ\u00e8s le premier test international <\/span>en direct<\/span>. Plus r\u00e9cemment, en 2024, le testing \u00e9tait conduit entre le Navire canadien de Sa majest\u00e9 (NCSM)\u00a0<\/span>Charlottetown<\/span><\/i>, les IMF Cape Scott, une zone d'essais de sud aux \u00c9tats-Unis, puis deux zones d'essais fran\u00e7ais. Le L-22 est un lien de donn\u00e9es tactiques s\u00fbr et transhorizon d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par l'OTAN et d\u00e9sign\u00e9 pour permettre les forces militaires alli\u00e9es\u2014de l'air, de surface, de sous-surface et de terre\u2014\u00e0 \u00e9changer d'information tactique fiablement et s\u00fbrement \u00e0 travers les distances longues.<\/p>\n

\u201cTactique veut dire que tout ce que nous voyons \u00e0 nos radars, incluant des navires amicaux, des vaisseaux suspects et plus est partag\u00e9 avec eux,\u201d a expliqu\u00e9 Chris Gilfoyle, Analyste de l'installation d'ing\u00e9nierie multi-liaisons aux IMF. \u201cS\u00fbr veut dire que toutes les donn\u00e9es sont chiffr\u00e9es. Il n'y a aucune connexion physique entre les navires et les a\u00e9ronefs; les donn\u00e9es sont transmis \u00e0 radio.\u201d<\/p>\n

Le L-22 utilise des communications \u00e0 haut fr\u00e9quence qui le laisse op\u00e9rer aux lieux satellite\u2010refus\u00e9s: une capacit\u00e9 qui devient augmentant vital au climat politique courant.<\/p>\n

Tandis que le L-22 s'est \u00e9t\u00e9 en cours de d\u00e9veloppement pendant plusieurs ann\u00e9es, il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une capacit\u00e9 nouvelle et rare quand m\u00eame aux flottes Alli\u00e9es, qui rend le testing multinational plus d\u00e9fiant.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cD'habitude, nous ne testons que nous assurer que nos \u00e9quipements fonctionnent. Nos marines partissent, puis elles traitent n'importe ce qu'elles croisent en d\u00e9ploiement,\u201d a dit Gilfoyle. \u201cC'est rare d'avoir l'occasion de tester avec une autre marine.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00e9sign\u00e9 avec le but de remplacer le L-11, le L-22 op\u00e8re de fa\u00e7on continue avec le L-22, un autre syst\u00e8me d'OTAN \u00e0 l'intention pour les communications \u00e0 plus courte port\u00e9e. Le nouveau syst\u00e8me s'est \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9 d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur tous les Fr\u00e9gates de patrouilles canadiens, avec l'int\u00e9gration planifi\u00e9e pour les navires de classe de Fleuves et rivi\u00e8res et la possibilit\u00e9 pour des l\u00e9g\u00e8res\u2010versions modernis\u00e9es aux vaisseaux arctiques comme les navires de classe Harry DeWolf.<\/p>\n
