\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n\u00c0 compter du 2 avril 2026, le Mus\u00e9e naval d'Halifax sera ferm\u00e9 pour une p\u00e9riode de deux ans afin de permettre la r\u00e9novation pr\u00e9vue de l\u2019\u00e9difice de l\u2019Amiraut\u00e9, un b\u00e2timent vieux de 208 ans et le lieu historique national qui est le site du Mus\u00e9e. La fermeture du Mus\u00e9e devrait \u00eatre du 7 avril 2026 au printemps 2028. Le dernier jour d\u2019ouverture du Mus\u00e9e au public sera le jeudi 2 avril, de 8 h \u00e0 15 h 30 (heure de l\u2019Atlantique).<\/p>\n
Pendant la fermeture, le Mus\u00e9e investira massivement dans la mise sur pied de nouvelles expositions de base qui enrichiront l\u2019exp\u00e9rience des visiteurs et leur permettront de mieux comprendre la riche histoire culturelle de la Marine royale canadienne (MRC). Fait important, la r\u00e9novation pr\u00e9vue de l\u2019\u00e9difice de l\u2019Amiraut\u00e9 est l\u2019occasion de pr\u00e9server le plus grand artefact du Mus\u00e9e ainsi qu\u2019un b\u00e2timent qui est au c\u0153ur de l\u2019histoire des forces navales canadiennes et alli\u00e9es \u00e0 Halifax depuis plus de deux si\u00e8cles.<\/p>\n
Les visites en personne au Mus\u00e9e ne seront pas autoris\u00e9es pendant la p\u00e9riode de fermeture et l\u2019offre de la plupart des programmes et des services du Mus\u00e9e sera temporairement suspendue. Nous tenons \u00e0 aviser le public que cette fermeture pr\u00e9vue ne repr\u00e9sente qu\u2019une interruption temporaire des services et que le Mus\u00e9e naval d\u2019Halifax rouvrira ses portes au public \u00e0 la fin des travaux. La collection sera soigneusement g\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du site afin de prot\u00e9ger les artefacts du Mus\u00e9e pendant toute la dur\u00e9e de la r\u00e9novation.<\/p>\n
Le Mus\u00e9e naval d\u2019Halifax vise \u00e0 favoriser la compr\u00e9hension de l\u2019histoire riche et dynamique de la Marine canadienne. Depuis la fondation de la MRC en 1910 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa configuration plus moderne, le Mus\u00e9e s\u2019efforce de faire d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019histoire de notre Marine, de la mer \u00e0 la terre, ainsi que d\u2019\u00e9veiller la curiosit\u00e9 \u00e0 propos des contributions de ceux qui ont servi et de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer ces derni\u00e8res.<\/p>\n
