L'\u00e9quipe f\u00e9minine de hockey des Mariners de la BFC Halifax a manqu\u00e9 de peu l'or r\u00e9gional au Championnat r\u00e9gional de hockey des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes 2026, s'inclinant 3 \u00e0 2 devant les Warriors de Gagetown \u00e0 l'issue d'une finale en double prolongation qui s'est av\u00e9r\u00e9e captivante.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le tournoi, qui s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 du 3 au 6 f\u00e9vrier \u00e0 la 14e Escadre Greenwood, mettait en vedette des \u00e9quipes de la BFC Halifax, de la 14e Escadre Greenwood et de la base de soutien de la 5e Division du Canada \u00e0 Gagetown.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les Mariners ont atteint le match de la m\u00e9daille d'or apr\u00e8s une d\u00e9faite serr\u00e9e au d\u00e9but de la semaine, s'inclinant 4 \u00e0 3 contre Greenwood dans le premier match. Elles ont rebondi avec une victoire de 2 \u00e0 1 sur les futures championnes de Gagetown, suivie d'une victoire dominante de 7 \u00e0 1 contre Greenwood en demi-finale.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La finale a eu lieu le 6 f\u00e9vrier. Apr\u00e8s avoir tir\u00e9 de l'arri\u00e8re 2-0 dans la premi\u00e8re p\u00e9riode, les Mariners ont r\u00e9pondu dans la deuxi\u00e8me, avec des buts de la caporale (Cpl) Amber Kronenburg et de la Cpl Sophia Bell. La lieutenante de vaisseau Caroline O'Connor et la Cpl Melanie Sirois ont obtenu des passes d\u00e9cisives.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L'\u00e9galit\u00e9 2-2 s'est maintenue pendant pr\u00e8s de trois p\u00e9riodes compl\u00e8tes avant que Gagetown n'inscrive le but d\u00e9cisif \u00e0 la fin de la double prolongation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
