Par cons\u00e9quence, la couronne royale qui repr\u00e9sentait le r\u00e8gne de feu Sa Majest\u00e9 la reine Elizabeth II, sera mise \u00e0 jour sur tous les identifiants des FAC.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La couronne royale canadienne a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e \u00e0 la demande du gouvernement du Canada pour servir \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9, quel que soit le monarque r\u00e9gnant, ce qui signifie qu'aucun processus de conception similaire ne sera n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 l'avenir. Historiquement, des transitions similaires ont pris des ann\u00e9es. Apr\u00e8s la mort du roi George VI en 1952, ce n'est qu'au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1960 que tous les accessoires militaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 jour pour arborer la couronne de Saint-\u00c9douard. Bien que le processus actuel devrait \u00eatre plus rapide, il faudra tout de m\u00eame plusieurs ann\u00e9es en raison du nombre important d'insignes au sein des FAC.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Les unit\u00e9s ne sont pas tenues de pr\u00e9senter une demande pour faire mettre \u00e0 jour leurs identifiants, car cela sera fait automatiquement par la Direction-Histoire et patrimoine (DHP). Les unit\u00e9s des FAC ne sont pas autoris\u00e9es \u00e0 modifier leurs identifiants de mani\u00e8re ind\u00e9pendante, car tous les dessins doivent \u00eatre approuv\u00e9s par l'Inspecteur des drapeaux consacr\u00e9s et des insignes des FAC.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, les nouveaux insignes principaux sont peints \u00e0 la main par l'Autorit\u00e9 h\u00e9raldique du Canada (AHC), approuv\u00e9s par la gouverneure g\u00e9n\u00e9rale (GG) et conserv\u00e9s \u00e0 la DHP. Le processus de conception et d'approbation de nouveaux insignes prend en moyenne de 12 \u00e0 18 mois. Heureusement, la transition vers la couronne royale canadienne ne n\u00e9cessitera pas les m\u00eames \u00e9tapes de conception et d'approbation, car les mises \u00e0 jour seront effectu\u00e9es \u00e9lectroniquement par le graphiste de la DHP. Une fois approuv\u00e9es, la DHP distribuera des images num\u00e9riques des illustrations mises \u00e0 jour et approuv\u00e9es pour tous les identifiants d'unit\u00e9 (insigne principal, drapeaux consacr\u00e9s, drapeaux de camp, etc.). Les illustrations originales peintes \u00e0 la main continueront d'\u00eatre conserv\u00e9es \u00e0 la DHP.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">En 2024, tous les cadres des insignes principaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9s pour inclure la couronne mise \u00e0 jour, une premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape importante dans le processus de transition. L'insigne principal des FAC et tous les insignes de commandement\/SMA ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 jour et seront distribu\u00e9s en cons\u00e9quence en janvier 2026. La DHP mettra progressivement \u00e0 jour les autres identifiants (groupe, branche, corps et unit\u00e9s) tout au long des ann\u00e9es 2026 et 2027.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Les illustrations affichant la couronne de Saint-\u00c9douard restent valides jusqu'\u00e0 ce qu'elles soient officiellement remplac\u00e9es par celles repr\u00e9sentant la couronne royale canadienne. Les insignes actuels affichant la couronne de Saint-\u00c9douard seront remplac\u00e9s selon une base d\u2019attrition; l\u2019inventaire actuel doit \u00eatre \u00e9puis\u00e9s avant tout achat de nouveaux articles.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Les unit\u00e9s ne doivent pas communiquer directement l\u2019AHC, car leurs demandes ne recevront pas de r\u00e9ponse. Toutes les demandes des unit\u00e9s doivent \u00eatre envoy\u00e9es via leur cha\u00eene de commandement.
