En accueillant Griffin Bjerke-Clarke<\/b><\/h3>\n

Note d'\u00e9diteur<\/i><\/b>\u00a0Le Trident est heureux d'accueillir Griffin Bjerke-Clarke \u00e0 l'\u00e9quipe cet hiver. Griffin joint le Trident via le Programme f\u00e9d\u00e9ral d'exp\u00e9rience de travail \u00e9tudiant (PFETE) o\u00f9 il va contribuer pendant son ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re des \u00e9tudes.<\/i><\/p>\n

Griffin Bjerke\u2011Clarke<\/b>\u00a0est un M\u00e9tis de Rivi\u00e8re Rouge (Chouinard, Bell, Lizotte) n\u00e9 \u00e0 R\u00e9gina, Saskatchewan avec origine du Manitoba et d'Alberta du nord.<\/p>\n

En ce moment Griffin est dans son ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re d'un Double dipl\u00f4me en Anglais et les \u00c9tudes contemporaines. Il a travaill\u00e9 au D\u00e9partement de d\u00e9fense national depuis 2021 o\u00f9 il a cultiv\u00e9 un fort parcours professionnel aux logistiques et dans la saisie de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

En 2019, Griffin a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 un \u00e9change de Rotary. Il est venu au Brumunddal en Norv\u00e8ge o\u00f9 il a habit\u00e9 pendant sept mois et est devenu fluent en Norv\u00e9gien. La pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 a \u00e9court\u00e9 l'\u00e9change en 2020. L'\u00e9t\u00e9 suivant, Griffin a travaill\u00e9 avec le d\u00e9partement d'arch\u00e9ologie de Parcs Canada \u00e0 Scarborough Ontario. Il a commenc\u00e9 ses \u00e9tudes en 2021 en continuant son emploi avec le D\u00e9partement de d\u00e9fense national.<\/p>\n

En 2023, Griffin a fait une pause des \u00e9tudes pour qu'il p\u00fbt participer \u00e0 Katimavik. Pendant le programme, il faisait un stage en Inn From the Cold \u00e0 Calgary et \u00e0 l'Arm\u00e9e du Salut \u00e0 la Ville de Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

Comme lecteur avide et \u00e9crivain \u00e0 vie, Griffin a laiss\u00e9 son premier roman, He Who Would Walk the Earth avec Fernwood\/Roseway en 2025. Il travaille en ce moment sur deux romans additionnels.<\/p>\n

\n

Pendant qu'il pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 dipl\u00f4mer, Griffin esp\u00e8re que son temps chez Trident va \u00e9largir ses comp\u00e9tences et lui introduire au monde du journalisme. \u00c0 l'obtention du dipl\u00f4me, Griffin cible de retourner aux prairies pour travailler comme un \u00e9ducateur des jeunes en Cri et Michif dans sa communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Griffin est citoyen registr\u00e9 de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des M\u00e9tis du Manitoba.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
