Par le Commandement maritime alli\u00e9 de l'OTAN<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les navires de lutte contre les mines et les \u00e9quipes de plong\u00e9e alli\u00e9s se sont concentr\u00e9s sur la surveillance des infrastructures sous-marines essentielles (CUI) tout en perfectionnant leurs comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 maritime lors de l'exercice Sandy Coasts 25.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cet exercice annuel met au d\u00e9fi les marines alli\u00e9es dans des domaines cl\u00e9s tels que la lutte contre les mines navales, la protection des ports, la coop\u00e9ration navale et orientation du trafic maritime. Cette ann\u00e9e, l'ajout de la surveillance et de la protection des CUI a \u00e9largi la port\u00e9e de la formation, permettant de tester et d'affiner ces capacit\u00e9s tout au long de l'exercice de deux semaines, qui a d\u00e9but\u00e9 le 15 ao\u00fbt 2025.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les navires du premier groupe de lutte contre les mines de l'OTAN (SNMCMG1), qui comprend les navires canadiens de Sa Majest\u00e9 (NCSM) Edmonton et Yellowknife, ainsi que le navire amiral de la marine lettone (LVNS) Virsaitis, ont tous particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l'exercice, en plus des alli\u00e9s des Pays-Bas, de la Belgique, de la France et de l'Estonie. Le groupe de travail de l'OTAN a \u00e9t\u00e9 renforc\u00e9 par le chasseur de mines n\u00e9erlandais Willemstad et le navire belge BNS Lobelia.<\/p>\n

Sandy Coasts est un exercice annuel organis\u00e9 \u00e0 tour de r\u00f4le par la Belgique et les Pays-Bas. Cette ann\u00e9e, l'exercice a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9 par la marine royale n\u00e9erlandaise au large du port de Delfzijl et en mer du Nord, au large des \u00eeles n\u00e9erlandaises des Wadden de Terschelling, Vlieland et Schiermonnikoog.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L'accent a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur le port Eemshaven de Groningue, qui sert de plaque tournante logistique vitale pour le soutien des pays h\u00f4tes aux alli\u00e9s de l'OTAN. En cas de d\u00e9ploiement militaire, le port jouerait un r\u00f4le crucial dans la r\u00e9ception, l'acheminement et la poursuite du mouvement des \u00e9quipements et du personnel. Il est donc essentiel d'assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de ce port, et sa protection est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 de l'exercice Sandy Coasts 25. L'exercice continue de jouer un r\u00f4le crucial dans le renforcement des partenariats et des capacit\u00e9s n\u00e9cessaires pour assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des mers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
