Le capitaine de fr\u00e9gate (Capc) Andrew Foran, commandant sortant du Navire canadien de Sa Majest\u00e9 (NCSM) Shawinigan, prend la parole lors d'une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise de commandement qui s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e le 30 juillet. La Marine royale canadienne se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 d\u00e9sarmer huit de ses navires de la classe Kingston au cours de c\u00e9r\u00e9monies officielles qui auront lieu cet automne. Les navires de la c\u00f4te est qui seront d\u00e9sarm\u00e9s sont le Shawinigan, le Summerside, le Goose Bay, le Glace Bay et le Kingston.<\/p>\n

Le NCSM Shawinigan est apparu pour la premi\u00e8re fois sur la couverture du Trident dans l'\u00e9dition du 5 juin 1997, quelques jours avant la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de mise en service du navire.
