Les \u00e9quipes masculine et f\u00e9minine de soccer du CISM (Conseil international du sport militaire) des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC) ont accueilli leurs homologues de la Marine royale \u00e0 Halifax, du 23 au 26 juillet, pour une s\u00e9rie amicale internationale haute en intensit\u00e9. Disput\u00e9s entre Halifax et Dartmouth, les quatre matchs ont permis de mettre en valeur la force croissante du soccer militaire de part et d\u2019autre de l\u2019Atlantique, avec de solides performances et une camaraderie manifeste jusqu\u2019apr\u00e8s le coup de sifflet final.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 masculin, l\u2019\u00e9quipe CISM des FAC a tenu ses homologues du Royaume-Uni en \u00e9chec 3-3 lors du premier match le 23 juillet, avant de s\u2019incliner 5-0 le 26 juillet. LE CPL ANTONIO GARCIA ALVAREZ<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Chaque \u00e9quipe a disput\u00e9 deux matchs : un premier affrontement le 23 juillet, suivi d\u2019une revanche le 26 juillet. Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 masculin, les FAC ont livr\u00e9 un match nul de 3-3 lors de la premi\u00e8re rencontre, puis se sont inclin\u00e9es 5-0 au deuxi\u00e8me match. Chez les femmes, l\u2019\u00e9quipe canadienne a remport\u00e9 une victoire \u00e2prement disput\u00e9e de 2-0 dans le premier duel, avant de perdre 1-0 dans la deuxi\u00e8me rencontre \u00e0 la suite d\u2019un but tardif de la Marine royale.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les matchs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 amicaux dans tous les sens du terme, avec de nombreux \u00e9changes cordiaux \u00e0 la fin de la s\u00e9rie le 26 juillet. Des repr\u00e9sentants de l\u2019Association de soccer de la Marine royale ont exprim\u00e9 leur enthousiasme \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019affronter certaines des meilleures \u00e9quipes de la r\u00e9gion, notamment les formations du CISM des FAC, mais aussi des \u00e9quipes locales comme les HFX Wanderers FC et United DFC.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La lieutenante de vaisseau Carrie Wood, co-capitaine de l\u2019\u00e9quipe f\u00e9minine du CISM pour la s\u00e9rie, a indiqu\u00e9 que son \u00e9quipe \u00e9tait ravie d\u2019avoir l\u2019occasion de jouer \u00e0 Halifax et de pr\u00e9senter les fruits de leur travail acharn\u00e9 devant un public local.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Il y a toujours un avantage \u00e0 jouer devant des partisans. Leur soutien peut donner de l\u2019\u00e9lan pendant le match et cr\u00e9er une ambiance tr\u00e8s dynamique. \u00bb<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La semaine \u00e0 Halifax repr\u00e9sentait seulement la deuxi\u00e8me occasion, cette ann\u00e9e, o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9quipe f\u00e9minine du CISM a pu s\u2019entra\u00eener au complet, apr\u00e8s un camp d\u2019entra\u00eenement tenu \u00e0 Kingston (Ontario) en mars dernier.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u2019est une autre occasion de faire \u00e9voluer notre programme et de d\u00e9montrer la qualit\u00e9 du sport f\u00e9minin au sein des FAC, dans l\u2019espoir d\u2019attirer de nouvelles membres. \u00bb<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En dehors de ces camps, les deux \u00e9quipes du CISM suivent des programmes individuels de conditionnement physique et de d\u00e9veloppement technique pour demeurer au niveau, et des rassemblements r\u00e9gionaux sont organis\u00e9s lorsque c\u2019est possible.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tous ces efforts visent \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer les prochaines comp\u00e9titions internationales, notamment les tournois du CISM pr\u00e9vus en 2026, ainsi que les prochains Jeux mondiaux militaires, qui auront lieu en 2027 \u00e0 Charlotte, en Caroline du Nord.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
