Dans les Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC) en pleine \u00e9volution, le r\u00f4le de l\u2019Organisation consultative des femmes de la D\u00e9fense (OCFD) n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi vital. Alors que nous continuons \u00e0 nous efforcer de b\u00e2tir une arm\u00e9e plus inclusive, plus \u00e9quitable et plus efficace sur le plan op\u00e9rationnel, l\u2019OCFD demeure une ardente d\u00e9fenseure des voix, des exp\u00e9riences et des besoins des femmes en uniforme.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pourquoi la croissance et la participation sont importantes<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La force de l\u2019OCFD r\u00e9side dans ses membres. Chaque voix ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 la conversation apporte de nouvelles perspectives, des exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues et des id\u00e9es qui contribuent \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner l\u2019avenir de notre institution. Une participation active garantit que les d\u00e9fis auxquels sont confront\u00e9es les femmes, en particulier dans les m\u00e9tiers et les environnements \u00e0 pr\u00e9dominance masculine, sont non seulement entendus, mais aussi abord\u00e9s au niveau politique.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nous avons besoin de plus de membres. Nous avons besoin de plus d\u2019engagement. Et nous avons besoin de plus de championnes (et de champions alli\u00e9s) pr\u00eates \u00e0 s\u2019exprimer, \u00e0 partager leur histoire et \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 un changement significatif.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00e9fis dans les domaines domin\u00e9s par les hommes<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les femmes dans les FAC continuent de faire face \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis uniques, surtout dans les professions op\u00e9rationnelles et techniques o\u00f9 elles demeurent sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es. Ces d\u00e9fis comprennent notamment :<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Des obstacles \u00e0 la progression de carri\u00e8re en raison de pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s inconscients ou d\u2019un manque de mentorat<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Des probl\u00e8mes li\u00e9s \u00e0 la culture du milieu de travail, notamment l\u2019isolement, le harc\u00e8lement ou le manque de soutien<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Des \u00e9quipements et des infrastructures non con\u00e7us pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des femmes<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Des pressions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la conciliation travail-vie personnelle, en particulier en mati\u00e8re de planification familiale et de d\u00e9ploiements<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Il ne s\u2019agit pas simplement de \u00ab probl\u00e8mes f\u00e9minins \u00bb, mais de v\u00e9ritables enjeux op\u00e9rationnels ayant un impact sur le moral, la r\u00e9tention du personnel et l\u2019\u00e9tat de pr\u00e9paration des forces.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          Progr\u00e8s et impact politique<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          Malgr\u00e9 ces d\u00e9fis, des progr\u00e8s sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s, et l\u2019OCFD a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans cette dynamique. Par le biais de consultations, de r\u00e9troactions et d\u2019initiatives de plaidoyer, l\u2019OCFD a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 influencer :<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            \n
          • L\u2019int\u00e9gration de l\u2019analyse comparative entre les sexes plus (ACS+) dans l\u2019\u00e9laboration des politiques<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • L\u2019am\u00e9lioration des uniformes et des \u00e9quipements afin de mieux convenir \u00e0 toutes les morphologies<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • L\u2019adoption de politiques de cong\u00e9 parental bonifi\u00e9es et de mesures de soutien pour les proches aidants<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • Les avanc\u00e9es en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 f\u00e9minine et de soins pr\u00e9nataux et postnataux<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • Un accent accru sur la formation au leadership inclusif et la pr\u00e9vention du harc\u00e8lement<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Ces changements ne sont pas seulement symboliques : ce sont des transformations structurelles qui rendent les FAC plus solides et plus r\u00e9silientes.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                    Regard vers l\u2019avenir<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                    Alors que nous nous tournons vers l\u2019avenir, le besoin d\u2019une OCFD robuste et engag\u00e9e est clair. Nous devons continuer \u00e0 \u00e9largir notre membership, \u00e0 diversifier notre repr\u00e9sentation et \u00e0 faire en sorte que chaque femme des FAC sache qu\u2019elle a une voix \u2014 et que celle-ci compte.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                    Si vous lisez ceci et vous vous demandez comment contribuer, la r\u00e9ponse est simple : impliquez-vous. Assistez \u00e0 une r\u00e9union. Partagez votre exp\u00e9rience.
