Chaque jour, l\u2019\u00c9cole de leadership et de recrues des Forces canadiennes (ELRFC) s\u2019affaire \u00e0 la reconstitution des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC) en offrant l\u2019instruction de base \u00e0 la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de militaires et de dirigeants. L\u2019ELRFC accomplit sa mission d\u2019entra\u00eenement des nouvelles recrues en leur inculquant le sens de devoir et en leur insufflant un sentiment de fiert\u00e9 et d\u2019appartenance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de nouvelles recrues qui commencent leur carri\u00e8re au sein des Forces arm\u00e9es, l\u2019ELRFC n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi occup\u00e9e. Et pour en faire la d\u00e9monstration, quoi de mieux que de r\u00e9unir tout le monde pour faire des pompes afin de donner aux nouvelles recrues un avant-go\u00fbt de l\u2019esprit de famille qui r\u00e8gne au sein des FAC?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

C\u2019est ainsi que, le 20 janvier dernier, le commandant de l\u2019ELRFC, le lieutenant-colonel (Lcol) Marc Kieley, a organis\u00e9 une parade matinale (vous quittez le site Web du gouvernement du Canada) avec toutes les recrues de l\u2019\u00e9cole, soit 25 pelotons en formation active. Ce sont donc 1 286 candidats qui \u00e9taient r\u00e9unis, parmi lesquels on d\u00e9nombrait quatre pelotons en derni\u00e8re semaine d\u2019instruction \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire et deux pelotons qui venaient d\u2019\u00eatre accueillis le matin m\u00eame \u00e0 l\u2019ELRFC. La parade s\u2019est cl\u00f4tur\u00e9e par un effort collectif de 13 000 pompes, rappelant ainsi aux candidats et au personnel que, quel que soit leur niveau d\u2019entra\u00eenement, leur \u00e9l\u00e9ment ou le groupe professionnel militaire (GPM) qui les attend, ils font d\u00e9sormais partie d\u2019une bien plus grande \u00e9quipe.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Il est tout aussi important de souligner le r\u00f4le des instructeurs de l\u2019ELRFC, qui sont issus de plus de 65 GPM et des trois \u00e9l\u00e9ments. Ils apportent aux candidats un large \u00e9ventail d\u2019exp\u00e9riences et de connaissances. Ils ont tous un style diff\u00e9rent, des exp\u00e9riences singuli\u00e8res et font preuve de rigueur et de d\u00e9vouement afin d\u2019entra\u00eener la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de soldats, d\u2019aviateurs et de marins des FAC.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019objectif de l\u2019ELRFC est de fournir aux FAC des recrues pr\u00eates pour leur prochaine affectation et qui ont les comp\u00e9tences et la motivation dont les Forces ont besoin pour aller plus loin. Les FAC d\u00e9pendent avant tout de leurs gens : des gens qui peuvent enseigner, des gens qui peuvent apprendre et des gens qui veulent faire une diff\u00e9rence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019ELRFC est compos\u00e9e de ces gens qui se r\u00e9unissent au quotidien pour b\u00e2tir un avenir durable avec une assise sur laquelle les recrues peuvent s\u2019appuyer tout au long de leur carri\u00e8re.
