2025, il est plus important que jamais de soutenir les femmes dans les domaines des sciences, de la technologie, de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et des math\u00e9matiques (STIM) au Canada. Le 11 f\u00e9vrier est la date qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle internationale pour reconna\u00eetre les femmes et les \ufb01lles en science, et une date \u00e0 laquelle nous prenons le temps de r\u00e9\ufb02\u00e9chir et d\u2019aller de l\u2019avant. Bien que le Canada ait fait des progr\u00e8s dans la promotion de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes, les femmes restent sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans de nombreux domaines des STIM, n\u2019occupant qu\u2019environ 23 % des emplois li\u00e9s aux STIM. Dans un monde en \u00e9volution rapide o\u00f9 l\u2019innovation et les progr\u00e8s technologiques sont essentiels \u00e0 notre \u00e9conomie et \u00e0 notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9, veiller \u00e0 ce que les femmes aient des chances \u00e9gales de contribuer dans ces domaines n\u2019est pas seulement une question d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, mais aussi de n\u00e9cessit\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La diversit\u00e9 du Canada est l\u2019une de nos plus grandes forces, et nous pouvons nous appuyer dessus. Les femmes repr\u00e9sentant la moiti\u00e9 de notre population, il est essentiel qu\u2019elles aient le soutien et les ressources dont elles ont besoin pour r\u00e9ussir dans les STIM. Des \u00e9quipes diversi\ufb01\u00e9es produisent des solutions plus cr\u00e9atives, stimulent l\u2019innovation et s\u2019attaquent \u00e0 des d\u00e9\ufb01s mondiaux complexes tels que le changement climatique, les disparit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de soins de sant\u00e9 et les avanc\u00e9es technologiques. Pourtant, sans un environnement inclusif et favorable, nous risquons de limiter les perspectives et les id\u00e9es qui sont essentielles au progr\u00e8s.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Pour combler l\u2019\u00e9cart entre les sexes dans les STIM, nous devons continuer d\u2019investir dans les jeunes \ufb01lles et les femmes \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tapes de leur carri\u00e8re. Qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse d\u2019encourager les \ufb01lles \u00e0 explorer les STIM \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole, d\u2019offrir des possibilit\u00e9s de mentorat et des r\u00f4les de leadership sur le lieu de travail, nous devons cr\u00e9er des parcours qui permettent aux femmes de r\u00e9ussir. Il s\u2019agit notamment de se concentrer sur les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s qui existent encore dans les salles de classe et les lieux de travail et de plaider en faveur de politiques qui garantissent l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des salaires, des chances et de la repr\u00e9sentation.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Le succ\u00e8s futur du Canada d\u00e9pend de la participation et du leadership des femmes dans les STIM, ainsi que de notre soutien dans ces m\u00e9tiers. Avec la demande croissante de travailleurs qualifi\u00e9s dans des domaines tels que l\u2019intelligence artificielle, la biotechnologie et l\u2019\u00e9nergie propre, il est essentiel que nous favorisions une culture o\u00f9 les femmes peuvent s\u2019\u00e9panouir.
