John's. \n\nL\u2019AVR ANNABELLE MARCOUX<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">D\u00e9cern\u00e9 chaque ann\u00e9e, ce prix r\u00e9compense l'unit\u00e9 des Forces maritimes de l'Atlantique de plus de 100 personnes qui illustre le mieux l'efficacit\u00e9, le moral et le leadership \u00e0 l'appui des op\u00e9rations de la Formation Halifax et de la Flotte canadienne de l\u2019Atlantique (FLTCANANT). Il s'agit de la quatri\u00e8me victoire de l'Admiral's Cup pour le St. John's, qui s'ajoute \u00e0 celles de 2004, 2012 et 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Selon l'\u00e9quipage du navire, le succ\u00e8s du NCSM St. John\u2019s en 2024 est attribuable \u00e0 des \u00e9tapes cl\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de pr\u00e9paration, d'engagement communautaire et d'excellence op\u00e9rationnelle.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Les huit premiers mois de l'ann\u00e9e ont \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 la pr\u00e9paration du St. John's en vue de son d\u00e9ploiement et de ses op\u00e9rations, ainsi qu'\u00e0 la sensibilisation et \u00e0 la collaboration. L'\u00e9quipage a effectu\u00e9 des mises \u00e0 niveau, des inspections et des r\u00e9parations de syst\u00e8mes essentiels, garantissant ainsi l'\u00e9tat de pr\u00e9paration du navire. Les membres de l'\u00e9quipage ont \u00e9galement continu\u00e9 \u00e0 participer activement \u00e0 la formation et \u00e0 la sensibilisation, en soutenant les initiatives de formation de l'Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, en accueillant des programmes de formation tels que la formation au port et la formation synth\u00e9tique multi-unit\u00e9s, et en organisant des visites de cadets, des projets de recherche sur la d\u00e9fense et des visites de l'industrie afin de pr\u00e9senter le travail de la Marine royale canadienne. En outre, les membres de l'\u00e9quipage ont soutenu Feed Nova Scotia en participant \u00e0 des t\u00e2ches b\u00e9n\u00e9voles dans l'entrep\u00f4t de l'organisation.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Les derniers mois de l'ann\u00e9e ont \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 l'excellence en mer, le St. John's mettant sa formation \u00e0 l'\u00e9preuve. Le navire a navigu\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s pour l'entra\u00eenement pr\u00e9paratoire de navire individuel, tout en compl\u00e9tant des modules de formation et en fournissant un mentorat pr\u00e9cieux aux membres du Programme Exp\u00e9rience de la Marine. Une voile du jour du Souvenir a permis aux membres de l'\u00e9quipage d'amener leurs amis et leur famille \u00e0 bord, tout en soutenant les c\u00e9r\u00e9monies du jour du Souvenir \u00e0 Point Pleasant Park. St. John's a \u00e9galement continu\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer sa capacit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 de nombreux essais en mer et exercices de tir en surface, consolidant ainsi sa r\u00e9putation de leader en mati\u00e8re de formation au port au sein de la flotte.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">St. John's a re\u00e7u la Coupe de la flotte des Programmes de soutien du personnel (PSP) d'Halifax en reconnaissance de l'implication de l'\u00e9quipage dans les sports de la base et de son engagement en faveur d'un mode de vie sain et actif. L'\u00e9quipe a \u00e9galement combin\u00e9 l'excellence athl\u00e9tique avec le service communautaire, en collectant un montant record de 151 789 $ en 2024 pour le chapitre de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador de R\u00eaves d'enfants Canada par le biais de l'initiative annuelle \u00ab Run-the-Rock. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Des marins du NCSM St. John's ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnus individuellement tout au long de 2024, notamment la Matelot de 1re classe Night, nomm\u00e9e Marin du premier trimestre par FLTCANANT, et la Matelot-chef Olizarevitch, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9e Matelot-chef de la formation.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Les r\u00e9alisations du navire en 2024 t\u00e9moignent du d\u00e9vouement de l'\u00e9quipage. \u00c0 tous les niveaux, St. John's a favoris\u00e9 une approche participative du leadership, en veillant \u00e0 ce que chaque marin se sente valoris\u00e9 en tant que membre d'une \u00e9quipe coh\u00e9sive.
