Le personnel de la base des Forces canadiennes (BFC) Halifax a travaill\u00e9 avec ses amis \u00e0 quatre pattes lors de la journ\u00e9e \u00ab Amenez votre chien au travail \u00bb, qui s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e le 26 novembre au profit d'une \u0153uvre de bienfaisance.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Moyennant un don de 10 dollars, et avec la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction de leurs coll\u00e8gues et de leurs sup\u00e9rieurs, les membres du personnel pouvaient passer la journ\u00e9e de travail avec leurs compagnons canins. Bien qu'il s'agisse d'un \u00e9v\u00e9nement destin\u00e9 \u00e0 remonter le moral des humains de la base, les chiens en visite ont \u00e9galement eu l'occasion de socialiser entre eux et de profiter de l'attention de leurs ma\u00eetres et des passants.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement a permis de recueillir des fonds pour la Campagne de charit\u00e9 en milieu de travail de la D\u00e9fense nationale (CCMTDN), qui soutient plus de 86 000 organismes de bienfaisance canadiens, dont beaucoup sont li\u00e9s aux Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC). La campagne de la CCMTDN dans la r\u00e9gion de Halifax est organis\u00e9e chaque automne en collaboration avec Centraide Halifax et PartenaireSant\u00e9.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab C'est tellement l\u00e9ger et agr\u00e9able \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Ariane Guay-Jadah, officier des affaires publiques de la BFC Halifax, \u00e0 propos de l'ambiance qui r\u00e8gne dans le bureau du commandant de la base o\u00f9 elle travaille.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Elle a amen\u00e9 son retriever de la Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse, une femelle de six ans nomm\u00e9e \u00c9cho. C'\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re fois qu'\u00c9cho venait sur la base et Guay-Jadah a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que son chien \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s heureux de lui rendre visite.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c9cho s'est content\u00e9e de se coucher aux pieds de Guay-Jadah pr\u00e8s de son bureau, mais il a aussi aim\u00e9 jouer avec Darcy, un Golden Retriever m\u00e2le de cinq ans, qui \u00e9tait avec son ma\u00eetre Joe Abando, coordonnateur des \u00e9v\u00e9nements et des activit\u00e9s de sensibilisation de la BFC Halifax, quelques bureaux plus loin.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L'officier principal des affaires publiques de la base, Margaret Conway, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l'organisation d'une journ\u00e9e \u00ab Amenez votre chien au travail \u00bb au sein des FAC avait vu le jour \u00e0 la BFC Esquimalt et que son \u00e9quipe souhaitait l'introduire sur la c\u00f4te est. La premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e \u00ab Apportez votre chien au travail \u00bb \u00e0 la BFC Halifax a eu lieu plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e, le 25 janvier.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Elle affirme que les \u00e9v\u00e9nements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 bien accueillis.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
