Pour de nombreux Canadiens, la p\u00e9riode des f\u00eates est un moment important de l'ann\u00e9e. Pour ceux qui c\u00e9l\u00e8brent No\u00ebl ou une autre f\u00eate, c'est une p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 les gens se r\u00e9unissent avec leur famille et leurs amis et c\u00e9l\u00e8brent leurs diverses traditions. Selon les familles, il peut s'agir d'observations religieuses ou la\u00efques. Il peut s'agir d'assister \u00e0 un office de chants de No\u00ebl, d'\u00e9changer des cadeaux, de d\u00e9guster un repas de dinde ou des p\u00e2tisseries fra\u00eeches. Quelles que soient vos traditions, il y a beaucoup de pr\u00e9paratifs \u00e0 faire \u00e0 l'avance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Quels sont les pr\u00e9paratifs que vous entreprenez en vue des f\u00eates de fin d'ann\u00e9e ? Passez-vous du temps \u00e0 acheter des cadeaux, \u00e0 \u00e9crire des cartes de v\u0153ux, \u00e0 d\u00e9corer la maison et \u00e0 vous assurer que vous avez tous les ingr\u00e9dients pour un d\u00eener parfait ? Peut-\u00eatre \u00eates-vous loin de chez vous et avez-vous d\u00e9j\u00e0 achet\u00e9 des billets d'avion pour rentrer chez vous, impatient de voir votre famille ?\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans l'\u00c9glise chr\u00e9tienne, nous appelons cette p\u00e9riode de pr\u00e9paration l'Avent. Le mot Avent vient d'un mot latin qui signifie \u00ab venir \u00bb, car l'Avent est un temps d'attente, un temps d'expectative, un temps d'anticipation. Dans la tradition chr\u00e9tienne, c'est le moment de l'ann\u00e9e o\u00f9 nous attendons avec impatience la venue de J\u00e9sus, \u00e0 la fois comme un b\u00e9b\u00e9 dans une mangeoire il y a 2000 ans et \u00e0 la fin de l'\u00e8re o\u00f9 toutes les choses seront renouvel\u00e9es. C'est pourquoi, en plus d'\u00eatre une p\u00e9riode d'anticipation et d'attente, c'est aussi une p\u00e9riode de pr\u00e9paration et de repentir, tout comme le Car\u00eame, et pour certains, c'est aussi une p\u00e9riode de je\u00fbne jusqu'\u00e0 la f\u00eate de la Nativit\u00e9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans une culture de consommation qui commence \u00e0 c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les f\u00eates en octobre, il est parfois difficile de prendre le temps de se pr\u00e9parer spirituellement aux f\u00eates. Nous devons nous souvenir de ceux qui ont moins de chance que nous et, pour les croyants, il est important de se r\u00e9unir pour prier pour les besoins du monde entier et pour la paix et la bonne volont\u00e9 sur toute la terre.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L'\u00e9quipe d'aum\u00f4niers des FMAR(A) vous invite donc chaleureusement, vous et vos familles, \u00e0 vous joindre \u00e0 nous pour notre festival de lectures et de chants de No\u00ebl, Un No\u00ebl celtique, qui aura lieu \u00e0 la chapelle St-Brendan, \u00e0 Stadacona, le 8 d\u00e9cembre \u00e0 15 h. Il s'agit d'un service de No\u00ebl chr\u00e9tien \u0153cum\u00e9nique traditionnel compos\u00e9 de neuf lectures de l'\u00c9criture, de chants de No\u00ebl traditionnels et de prestations musicales de musiciens locaux, dont l'ensemble celtique du la Musique Stadacona et la Chorale des \u00c9pouses militaires canadiennes de Halifax.
