Les navires canadiens de Sa Majest\u00e9 (NCSM) Glace Bay et Shawinigan ont \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillis \u00e0 Halifax le 29 octobre apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9ploiement de quatre mois avec le 1er groupe permanent de lutte contre les mines de l'OTAN (SNMCMG1) en mer Baltique dans le cadre de l'op\u00e9ration R\u00e9assurance. Outre les exercices d'entra\u00eenement aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des alli\u00e9s de l'OTAN, la mission comprenait \u00e9galement la surveillance des navires russes dans la mer Baltique et la mer du Nord du 29 ao\u00fbt au 1er septembre.<\/p>\n

Le 31 octobre, lors d'une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de passation de commandement \u00e0 bord du NCSM Glace Bay, le Capc Paul Morrison (au centre) a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9 pour le travail qu'il a accompli pendant le d\u00e9ploiement en tant que commandant de la force op\u00e9rationnelle et commandant du NCSM Glace Bay. Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 promu \u00e0 son nouveau grade de capitaine de fr\u00e9gate par le Cmdre Jacob French (\u00e0 gauche), commandant de la Flotte canadienne de l'Atlantique. Le capitaine d'armes du NCSM Glace Bay, le M 1 Robert Sinclair, est \u00e9galement sur la photo.<\/p>\n
