Lors d'une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d'investiture tenue le 12 juillet, la 12e Escadre Shearwater a accueilli son tout nouveau colonel honoraire au sein de la famille de l'Aviation royale du Canada (ARC). La colonel honoraire (Col H) Joyce Carter a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9e \u00e0 ce nouveau poste par le colonel (Col) David Holmes, commandant de la 12e Escadre. La Col H Carter est pr\u00e9sidente et chef de la direction de l'Administration de l'a\u00e9roport international de Halifax et ancienne pr\u00e9sidente du Conseil des a\u00e9roports du Canada. Elle a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9e l'une des 100 femmes les plus puissantes du Canada en 2023 par le R\u00e9seau des femmes ex\u00e9cutives. \n\n \n\n\u00ab La colonel honoraire Carter est particuli\u00e8rement bien plac\u00e9 pour ce r\u00f4le, en fait, j'ai d'abord plaid\u00e9 pour que Joyce soit colonel honoraire lorsque j'\u00e9tais le commandant du 423e Escadron d'h\u00e9licopt\u00e8res maritimes en 2015. J'ai \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement heureux d'apprendre qu'elle allait \u00eatre notre prochain colonel honoraire de la 12e escadre \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le Col Holmes.<\/p>\n
