Le NCSM Charlottetown a termin\u00e9 le mois de juillet par une visite portuaire pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 Istanbul, en Turquie, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du navire de la marine turque TCG Gaziantep. Pendant cette visite, le commandant du 2e Groupe maritime permanent OTAN (SNMG2), le commodore canadien Matthew Coates, a rencontr\u00e9 le contre-amiral Rafet Oktar, commandant du champ maritime nord de la marine turque, et le NCSM Charlottetown a accueilli \u00e0 son bord des membres du personnel de l'ambassade du Canada en Turquie ainsi que des invit\u00e9s de plusieurs pays de l'OTAN. La visite \u00e0 Istanbul fait suite \u00e0 de r\u00e9cents exercices en mer au cours desquels des membres du SNMG2 ont op\u00e9r\u00e9 aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du navire HS Nikiforos de la marine hell\u00e9nique.<\/p>\n
