Le matin du 18 juillet, des membres de l\u2019Organisation consultative de la fiert\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00c9quipe de la D\u00e9fense de l\u2019Atlantique et des membres de l\u2019\u00c9quipe de la D\u00e9fense locale se sont r\u00e9unis au Quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la base (Stadacona, B\u00e2timent S90) et \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e principale de la 12 e Escadre pour des c\u00e9r\u00e9monies de lever des couleurs marquant le d\u00e9but du festival de la Fiert\u00e9 d\u2019Halifax.<\/div>\n

Le drapeau de la Fiert\u00e9 inclusif-intersexe a \u00e9t\u00e9 hiss\u00e9 \u00e0 ces endroits ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 bord des navires de la Marine royale canadienne amarr\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019arsenal CSM. Il restera hiss\u00e9 pendant toute la dur\u00e9e du festival, du 18 au 28 juillet.<\/div>\n

Tout en c\u00e9l\u00e9brant les personnes LGBTQI2+ en cette saison de la Fiert\u00e9, nous r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissons \u00e9galement aux luttes, aux discriminations, au harc\u00e8lement et aux obstacles auxquels ces personnes ont d\u00fb faire face par le pass\u00e9. Plus nous apprenons \u00e0 nous conna\u00eetre les uns les autres, plus nous pouvons trouver des points communs, favoriser l\u2019inclusion et lutter contre les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s et les injustices.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
