Bouclier de l'amiral Jones : M 2 Nicole Hinkley<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n

Le bouclier de l'amiral Jones est d\u00e9cern\u00e9 chaque ann\u00e9e au militaire du rang qui contribue le plus \u00e0 la conduite, \u00e0 l'esprit sportif et au caract\u00e8re dans le cadre d'activit\u00e9s sportives au sein de la Formation Halifax. Cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1946 \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire du vice-amiral G.C. Jones du NCSM Stadacona, ce prix existe depuis plus de 75 ans, ce qui en fait l'un des plus anciens prix de la Marine royale du Canada (MRC).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La laur\u00e9ate du bouclier de l'amiral Jones pour 2023 est la ma\u00eetre de 2e classe Nicole Hinkley.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La M 2 Hinkley a fait preuve d'un engagement exceptionnel \u00e0 l'\u00e9gard du programme de conditionnement physique et de sports de la Formation Halifax en 2023. En tant que membre de l'\u00e9quipe f\u00e9minine de balle lente de la Formation Halifax, le M 2 Hinkley a aid\u00e9 l'\u00e9quipe \u00e0 remporter une m\u00e9daille d'or dans la r\u00e9gion de l'Atlantique de la CAF et une m\u00e9daille d'argent au niveau national. Ses contributions au hockey f\u00e9minin de la CAF ont eu un impact encore plus important. Au niveau local, elle a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 une proposition visant \u00e0 accro\u00eetre le financement du hockey f\u00e9minin afin d'inclure une deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9quipe de d\u00e9veloppement, les Kraken, qui participent \u00e0 la Ligue de hockey f\u00e9minin de la Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse.\n\n\nDans la communaut\u00e9, Nicole a \u00e9t\u00e9 assistante-entra\u00eeneuse, repr\u00e9sentante de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et des premiers soins pour le hockey mineur. Son d\u00e9vouement \u00e0 soutenir le hockey f\u00e9minin \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents niveaux a permis aux femmes de tous \u00e2ges de d\u00e9velopper leurs comp\u00e9tences, d'acqu\u00e9rir de la confiance et de continuer \u00e0 faire progresser le sport.<\/span><\/p>\n
