Le 8 juin, le match de reconnaissance du minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense nationale (MDN) du club de soccer des Wanderers d\u2019Halifax s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 au terrain des Wanderers, au centre-ville d\u2019Halifax. Pour l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, on a mis en place deux zones d\u2019activit\u00e9s du MDN et des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC) comprenant de nombreuses expositions statiques du MDN et des FAC, des cadets et du Centre de ressources pour les familles des militaires, ainsi qu\u2019un ajout sp\u00e9cial au spectacle a\u00e9rien de l\u2019Atlantique, le Spitfire de John Hart! La Musique Stadacona a interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 le \u00d4 Canada lors d\u2019une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d\u2019ouverture, qui comprenait \u00e9galement une garde de drapeau interarm\u00e9es, la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019enfants de militaires et le tirage d\u2019une pi\u00e8ce de c\u00e9r\u00e9monie du commandant de la 12e Escadre. De plus, un groupe combin\u00e9 de corps de cornemuses et tambours de la 12e Escadre et de la 14e Escadre a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un excellent spectacle \u00e0 la mi-temps. Pour couronner le tout, les mascottes des FAC, Sonar (Marine), Juno (Arm\u00e9e) et Astra (Arm\u00e9e de l\u2019air), sont venues encourager l\u2019\u00e9quipe.
