L'objectif est de sensibiliser \u00e0 l'importance de la protection et de la pr\u00e9servation de notre environnement naturel. Le th\u00e8me des Nations unies pour la Semaine de l'environnement 2024 \u00e9tait \u00ab G\u00e9n\u00e9ration restauration \u00bb, qui englobe la restauration des terres et la d\u00e9sertification ainsi que la r\u00e9silience \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse. Le Canada a align\u00e9 sa c\u00e9l\u00e9bration sur ce th\u00e8me en reconnaissant tout ce que les Canadiens font pour assurer un environnement sain aux g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures, comme l'objectif de z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette d'ici 2050 et l'engagement de pr\u00e9server 30 % de l'espace terrestre et oc\u00e9anique du Canada d'ici 2030.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:0,&quot;335551620&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Le service de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et d'environnement des Forces maritimes de l'Atlantique (SE FMAR(A)) a fait la promotion de la semaine de l'environnement dans l'ensemble des FMAR(A) en encourageant les membres \u00e0 se sensibiliser \u00e0 diverses questions environnementales. Des courriels quotidiens ont \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9s au cours de la semaine, mettant l'accent sur diff\u00e9rents sujets environnementaux chaque jour, y compris des conseils et des astuces simples sur la fa\u00e7on dont le personnel peut rendre son travail et sa routine \u00e0 la maison plus respectueux de l'environnement. SE FMAR(A) a \u00e9galement organis\u00e9 son concours annuel de photos de la nature, offrant au personnel la possibilit\u00e9 de soumettre une photo de la nature pour avoir une chance de gagner l'une des trois entr\u00e9es au parc national et au site historique national de Kejimkujik. Avec plus de 60 photos soumises, ce concours a encourag\u00e9 de nombreux membres de l'\u00e9quipe de d\u00e9fense \u00e0 sortir et \u00e0 appr\u00e9cier tout ce que l'environnement naturel a \u00e0 offrir. Les trois heureux gagnants du concours photo sont Caroline McDade, du service d'assistance informatique de la SIB, le capitaine de fr\u00e9gate Brian May, du Centre de recherche de l'Atlantique, Recherche et d\u00e9veloppement pour la d\u00e9fense Canada, et Tim Wakfer, de POES\/Incendie. F\u00e9licitations et merci \u00e0 tous ceux qui ont particip\u00e9 au concours !<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Le SE FMAR(A) a tenu des stands d'information \u00e0 Willow Park, \u00e0 l'arsenal CSM et \u00e0 Stadacona afin d'informer l'\u00e9quipe de la D\u00e9fense sur la durabilit\u00e9 environnementale.
