Les personnes int\u00e9ress\u00e9es par l'\u00e9volution du monde de la technologie navale sont invit\u00e9es \u00e0 assister \u00e0 un s\u00e9minaire de deux jours \u00e0 la Base des Forces canadiennes (BFC) Halifax qui portera sur un \u00e9ventail de questions et de possibilit\u00e9s li\u00e9es \u00e0 la technologie auxquelles fait face la Marine royale du Canada (MRC).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le s\u00e9minaire technique naval de la c\u00f4te Est se tiendra dans la salle d'exercice S-120 de la BFC Halifax les 5 et 6 juin. Le s\u00e9minaire se d\u00e9roulera de 8 h \u00e0 12 h les deux jours.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Le s\u00e9minaire technique permet d'accro\u00eetre la visibilit\u00e9 de l'organisation, de promouvoir un dialogue ouvert et d'encourager les participants \u00e0 prendre des mesures ou \u00e0 discuter de certains sujets \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la Lieutenant de vaisseau Shannon O'Reilly. Chaque jour, des experts militaires et civils pr\u00e9senteront des expos\u00e9s sur divers sujets d'actualit\u00e9, notamment un expos\u00e9 sur l'intelligence artificielle et l'apprentissage automatique par Frank Rudzicz, professeur agr\u00e9g\u00e9 d'informatique \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 Dalhousie.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Michael Lechmann, vice-pr\u00e9sident de la croissance de COVE, un incubateur d'entreprises de technologie maritime bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Dartmouth, pr\u00e9sentera \u00e9galement les technologies maritimes de COVE et leur pertinence pour la MRC.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le s\u00e9minaire de cette ann\u00e9e devrait couvrir un large \u00e9ventail de sujets. La Ltv O'Reilly a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la base de connaissances des participants rendait cela possible.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous avons la chance de disposer au sein de cette communaut\u00e9 d'un large \u00e9ventail de connaissances techniques, ce qui permet de susciter l'int\u00e9r\u00eat pour de nombreux domaines. \u00bb<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le deuxi\u00e8me jour du s\u00e9minaire sera consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 une discussion avec le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du programme d'\u00e9quipement maritime, le commodore (Cmdre) Keith Coffen. La Ltv O'Reilly a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l'assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale aborderait probablement des \u00ab questions primordiales \u00bb au sein de la MRC, telles que la r\u00e9tention du personnel et l'\u00e9tat des navires de la MRC.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L'objectif principal est d'attirer le plus grand nombre possible de techniciens maritimes et a\u00e9ronautiques et de les encourager \u00e0 contribuer aux discussions de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
