Le 29 avril 2024 a marqu\u00e9 le quatri\u00e8me anniversaire de l'\u00e9crasement tragique d'un h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re CH-148 Cyclone en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 la mort de six membres des FAC. L'h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re, dont l'indicatif d'appel \u00e9tait Stalker 22, s'est \u00e9cras\u00e9 au large de la Gr\u00e8ce alors qu'il \u00e9tait d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 avec le NCSM Fredericton dans le cadre de l'op\u00e9ration Reassurance. \u00c0 Shearwater, la communaut\u00e9 des h\u00e9licopt\u00e8res maritimes a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement par une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie comm\u00e9morative \u00e0 la chapelle de la 12e Escadre, avant que les participants ne se rassemblent devant le monument du Stalker 22 au parc d'aviation de Shearwater. D'autres initiatives ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prises, notamment un service comm\u00e9moratif en mer \u00e0 bord du NCSM Montr\u00e9al. Nous nous souvenons du caporal-chef Matthew Cousins, de l'enseigne de vaisseau de 1re classe Abbigail Cowbrough, du capitaine Kevin Hagen, du capitaine Brenden MacDonald, du capitaine Maxime Miron-Morin et de l'enseigne de vaisseau de 1re classe Matthew Pyke.<\/p>\n
