Le Commandement maritime alli\u00e9 (MARCOM) de l'OTAN a accueilli les commandants de flotte, les directeurs op\u00e9rationnels et d'autres hauts responsables des pays alli\u00e9s pour la Conf\u00e9rence des commandants des op\u00e9rations maritimes (MOCC) 2024, \u00e0 son si\u00e8ge de Northwood (Angleterre), du 16 au 18 avril.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00ab Face \u00e0 la guerre sur le continent europ\u00e9en, le r\u00f4le des forces navales de l'OTAN est essentiel \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le commandant supr\u00eame des forces alli\u00e9es en Europe, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Chris Cavoli, lors de l'ouverture de la conf\u00e9rence. \u00ab Votre d\u00e9vouement \u00e0 la s\u00e9curisation des lignes de communication maritimes est ce qui relie l'ensemble de l'Alliance. Votre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00e9server la libert\u00e9 de navigation est le fondement m\u00eame de l'\u00e9conomie de nos pays. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Depuis plus de sept d\u00e9cennies, les forces maritimes de l'OTAN \u00e9voluent et s'adaptent \u00e0 l'environnement de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en constante \u00e9volution de la r\u00e9gion euro-atlantique, afin de garantir la connaissance du milieu maritime et l'\u00e9tat de pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 la d\u00e9fense contre tout agresseur.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 l'occasion du 75e anniversaire de l'OTAN, la conf\u00e9rence avait pour th\u00e8me \u00ab \u00ab Am\u00e9liorer l'\u00e9tat de pr\u00e9paration et la capacit\u00e9 de guerre maritime dans un environnement multi-menaces et multi-domaines. \u00bb Outre les commandants des flottes des marines alli\u00e9es, les commandants et le personnel cl\u00e9 des commandements de forces interarm\u00e9es ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence et ont engag\u00e9 des conversations autour de quatre th\u00e8mes : le passage \u00e0 un dispositif de commandement, de contr\u00f4le et de forces qui est toujours en mouvement, qui pense de mani\u00e8re op\u00e9rationnelle et \u00e0 long terme ; l'\u00e9volution du MARCOM en tant que quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de guerre ; la pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 des situations d'urgence \u00e0 court terme ; et la garantie d'un avantage de guerre durable pour les Alli\u00e9s par rapport \u00e0 tout adversaire potentiel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le commandant du MARCOM, le Vice-amiral Mike Utley de la Royal Navy, a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 la conf\u00e9rence. \u00ab Il n'y a jamais eu de moment plus critique dans l'histoire pour renforcer la d\u00e9fense collective de l'alliance. Au cours des deux derniers jours, les chefs des marines alli\u00e9es se sont r\u00e9unis et ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des discussions essentielles et fructueuses qui ont permis d'approfondir nos relations et de renforcer la coh\u00e9sion de l'OTAN. Chaque Alli\u00e9 apporte \u00e0 l'OTAN des capacit\u00e9s de guerre essentielles et une expertise unique. Notre situation collective est meilleure gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'engagement des Alli\u00e9s \u00e0 transformer ces capacit\u00e9s en avantage op\u00e9rationnel face \u00e0 tout adversaire potentiel \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le vam Utley.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le MARCOM est le commandement central de toutes les forces maritimes de l'OTAN, et le commandant du MARCOM est le principal conseiller maritime de l'Alliance.
