D'abord interrompu en 2020 en raison de pr\u00e9occupations li\u00e9es \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie, le programme d'\u00e9change CANZEX pr\u00e9vu de longue date entre la Musique Stadacona de la Marine royale canadienne et la Musique de la Marine royale n\u00e9o-z\u00e9landaise bat maintenant son plein.<\/span><\/p>\n

Des \u00e9changes fructueux ont eu lieu en 2023 dans les deux sens, et le prochain chapitre de ce partenariat permanent est actuellement en cours - quatre membres de la Musique Stadacona ont quitt\u00e9 Halifax \u00e0 la mi-janvier et terminent actuellement un \u00e9change de cinq semaines avec leurs homologues de la Marine royale n\u00e9o-z\u00e9landaise.<\/span><\/p>\n

La Ma\u00eetre de 1re classe Charmaine Chaddock, qui s'est rendue \u00e0 Auckland au d\u00e9but de l'ann\u00e9e 2023, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les voyages ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fructueux, tant sur le plan des \u00e9changes culturels que sur celui de la formation et de l'apprentissage pour les personnes concern\u00e9es. Elle faisait partie du groupe charg\u00e9 de planifier un premier voyage qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 annul\u00e9 en 2020, entra\u00eenant une grande d\u00e9ception pour les membres, qui avaient fait leurs valises et \u00e9taient pr\u00eats \u00e0 partir. Les groupes sont rest\u00e9s en contact et ont continu\u00e9 \u00e0 chercher des opportunit\u00e9s jusqu'\u00e0 ce que le voyage devienne enfin possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

La M 1 Chaddock a \u00e9t\u00e9 rejoint par la M 2 Anna Sprange et la Matc Emily Bellman lors de cet \u00e9change en Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande. Le premier ma\u00eetre de la RNZN Philip Spriggs, qui a \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la planification des programmes d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but, a vu les choses se concr\u00e9tiser de son c\u00f4t\u00e9 lorsqu'il a rejoint l'orchestre Stadacona \u00e0 Halifax pendant les derni\u00e8res semaines de 2023, pendant la saison des concerts de vacances.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab La relation entre les deux orchestres s'est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e et s'est maintenue depuis que le premier groupe \u00e9tait cens\u00e9 partir. C'\u00e9tait vraiment bien de pouvoir enfin le faire en 2023, apr\u00e8s une longue p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 nous esp\u00e9rions et croisions les doigts pour que cela fonctionne \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la M 1 Chaddock.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ces voyages ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fructueux \u00e0 plusieurs \u00e9gards, car les membres ont d\u00e9couvert les diff\u00e9rences de fonctionnement de chaque groupe, tant sur le plan administratif que sur le plan musical. Des exp\u00e9riences culturelles ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 v\u00e9cues de part et d'autre. Pour le Pm Spriggs, les moments forts de son s\u00e9jour au Canada ont \u00e9t\u00e9 sa premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience sur une piste de curling, son premier match de hockey en direct et la visite de sites locaux tels que Peggy's Cove. Pour les Canadiens participant \u00e0 l'\u00e9change, l'influence de la culture M\u0101ori s'est fait sentir - ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillis sur le marae (lieu de rencontre M\u0101ori) \u00e0 leur arriv\u00e9e et ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l'influence de la culture M\u0101ori sur le pays et ses militaires \u00e9tait \u00e9vidente dans la musique qu'ils ont jou\u00e9e et les communaut\u00e9s qu'ils ont visit\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les membres de la musique Stadacona actuellement \u00e0 Auckland se sont entretenus avec Trident avant leur d\u00e9part, et certains d'entre eux ont indiqu\u00e9 que l'influence M\u0101ori \u00e9tait l'un des facteurs qui rendaient l'\u00e9change si attrayant.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Ils sont tr\u00e8s proches des cultures indig\u00e8nes, ce qui est passionnant et dont nous pourrions probablement nous inspirer \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la Matelot de 1re classe Chelsea Alexi, qui participe \u00e0 l'\u00e9change avec le matelot-chef Matthew Henry, le Ma\u00eetre de 2e classe Christian Navr\u00e1til et le Matelot-chef Tony Taylor.<\/span>

Le M 2 Navr\u00e1til, un tambour-major, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu'il \u00e9tait impatient de relever les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s aux diff\u00e9rents styles d'exercices et de marches, notant en riant que \u00ab nous avons entendu des histoires int\u00e9ressantes sur des marches lentes \u00e0 l'envers et d'autres choses de ce genre. \u00bb<\/span>

Les membres ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les deux groupes sont d\u00e9sireux de poursuivre le partenariat et les \u00e9changes, et esp\u00e8rent accueillir d'autres N\u00e9o-Z\u00e9landais \u00e0 Halifax dans un avenir proche, ce qui permettra d'\u00e9tablir des relations encore plus \u00e9troites et de continuer \u00e0 en tirer des avantages mutuels.<\/span><\/p>\n
