Soutenir le service silencieux<\/b><\/h3>\n

Par la Force des sous-marines canadienne<\/b><\/p>\n

Napol\u00e9on a prononc\u00e9 une phrase c\u00e9l\u00e8bre : \u00ab Les amateurs discutent tactique : les professionnels discutent logistique \u00bb. Bien que peut-\u00eatre simpliste, l\u2019id\u00e9e que l\u2019on ne peut ignorer la logistique qu\u2019\u00e0 ses risques et p\u00e9rils est largement accept\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n

Petits mais puissants, les sous-marins n\u2019ont pas la place n\u00e9cessaire pour des fournitures suppl\u00e9mentaires. Ils d\u00e9pendent donc du Service de la logistique de la Force des sous-marines canadien (FSC) et de l\u2019\u00e9quipe de soutien des sous-marins pour s\u2019assurer qu\u2019ils re\u00e7oivent de la nourriture, des pi\u00e8ces d\u00e9tach\u00e9es, du courrier et d\u2019autres articles essentiels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Contrairement aux navires de surface, les \u00e9quipes de logistique des sous-marins ne naviguent pas avec le navire, mais se d\u00e9placent en tant qu\u2019\u00e9quipe de site logistique de l\u2019avant (SLA). De plus, comme les communications des sous-marins sont limit\u00e9, des communications claires et une planification d\u00e9taill\u00e9e sont n\u00e9cessaires pour soutenir les sous-marins peu importe o\u00f9 ils se trouvent.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous sommes comme une \u00e9quipe de SLA et nous volons pour soutenir les sous-marins dans les ports \u00e9trangers et assurer la liaison avec les autorit\u00e9s portuaires. Ce n\u2019est pas quelque chose que l\u2019on fait \u00e0 bord d\u2019une fr\u00e9gate puisque l\u2019\u00e9quipe de SLA vient d\u2019une autre organisation. Cela nous donne l\u2019avantage de conna\u00eetre l\u2019\u00e9quipage et de faciliter notre travail \u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 la Ltv Isabelle Bergeron, officier de la logistique du d\u00e9tachement Est de la FSC.<\/span><\/p>\n
