Apr\u00e8s avoir lanc\u00e9 un garde-manger communautaire \u00e0 son emplacement de Halifax en novembre 2023, le Centre de ressources pour les familles des militaires de la r\u00e9gion de Halifax (CRFM H&R) a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9largi l'initiative pour inclure un deuxi\u00e8me garde-manger \u00e0 son emplacement de Shearwater. Alors que l'ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire continue de s\u00e9vir au Canada, votre CRFM intervient pour att\u00e9nuer l'impact sur les familles militaires et de v\u00e9t\u00e9rans. Le service vise \u00e0 soutenir les familles qui subissent un stress financier ou des difficult\u00e9s, ainsi que des \u00e9v\u00e9nements m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques extr\u00eames, des ruptures familiales et d'autres urgences impr\u00e9vues.<\/span><\/p>\n

Depuis son ouverture en novembre 2023 au CRFM d'Halifax, le Garde-manger communautaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s utilis\u00e9 et a re\u00e7u des commentaires positifs sur l'impact qu'il a sur les familles confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s financi\u00e8res. Nous sommes fiers d'annoncer l'ouverture du Garde-manger communautaire au CRFM de Shearwater \u00e0 compter du 24 janvier 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c0 Shearwater, vous pouvez vous attendre aux m\u00eames produits de base et au m\u00eame anonymat qu'\u00e0 Halifax. Entrez au CRFM de Shearwater par le c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l'\u00e9difice, en passant par les portes du Centre de formation linguistique, et suivez les indications au sol jusqu'au garde-manger. Prenez ce dont vous avez besoin et sortez par o\u00f9 vous \u00eates entr\u00e9. Aucune pi\u00e8ce d'identit\u00e9 n'est requise, aucune inscription n'est n\u00e9cessaire, aucun obstacle n'est \u00e0 franchir. L'accent est mis sur l'accessibilit\u00e9, et ouvrir notre garde-manger \u00e0 Shearwater nous permet d'atteindre cet objectif.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les personnes qui se pr\u00e9sentent sans rendez-vous sont les bienvenues au CRFM H et R de Halifax (6393 Homefire Crescent, Halifax) entre 8 h et 16 h et au CRFM H et R de Shearwater (30 Provider Road) de 8 h \u00e0 15 h, du lundi au vendredi. Il faut simplement suivre les indications dans le couloir principal qui m\u00e8neront au garde-manger communautaire.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les dons en argent serviront \u00e0 acheter des articles de base en fonction des demandes de la communaut\u00e9. Si votre unit\u00e9 recueille des fonds dans le cadre de l'initiative Dress for a Difference ou d'autres initiatives de collecte de fonds, veuillez envisager de faire don des profits au CRFM H et R.<\/span><\/p>\n
