Centenaire de l\u2019ARC : s\u2019envoler vers le prochain si\u00e8cle<\/b><\/h3>\n

Par l'\u00e9quipe du centenaire de l'ARC 2024<\/b><\/p>\n

L\u2019Aviation royale canadienne (ARC) c\u00e9l\u00e8bre son 100e anniversaire cette ann\u00e9e. Pr\u00e9parez-vous \u00e0 un parcours passionnant \u00e0 travers un si\u00e8cle d\u2019excellence en aviation. Les c\u00e9l\u00e9brations locales, nationales et internationales remarquables des escadrons et des escadres marqueront l\u2019ann\u00e9e. Il ne s\u2019agit pas d\u2019une simple r\u00e9trospective nostalgique; c\u2019est un saut vers l\u2019avenir alors que l\u2019ARC entre dans son deuxi\u00e8me si\u00e8cle de service. <\/span>www.rcaf2024arc.ca<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Les c\u00e9l\u00e9brations ont commenc\u00e9 avec le lancement du chandail sp\u00e9cial des Jets de Winnipeg pour la saison 2023-2024 de la LNH. Cette r\u00e9plique de l\u2019uniforme historique vise \u00e0 rendre hommage aux Flyers de l\u2019ARC de 1948, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de hockey compos\u00e9e de membres de l\u2019ARC qui a remport\u00e9 l\u2019or aux Jeux Olympiques d\u2019hiver de 1948 \u00e0 Saint-Moritz, en Suisse. Les joueurs des Jets rev\u00eatiront les chandails au style de 1948 pour trois matchs \u00e0 domicile, y compris le match du 1er avril 2024, date du<\/span>.<\/span> 100e anniversaire de l\u2019ARC.<\/span><\/p>\n

Toujours le 1er avril, plus de 250 emplacements dans au moins une douzaine de pays allumeront des lumi\u00e8res bleu aviation pour lancer les illuminations du centenaire de l\u2019ARC. Cet hommage visuel international est ouvert aux participants du monde entier et souligne un si\u00e8cle d\u2019excellence en aviation. Nous avons communiqu\u00e9 avec l\u2019organisme <\/span>Guinness World Records<\/i><\/b> et nous avons h\u00e2te d\u2019\u00e9tablir un record mondial gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n

Passons au mois de mai 2024, lors duquel se d\u00e9roule Festival canadien des tulipes \u00e0 Ottawa. Les organisateurs du festival ont sp\u00e9cialement cultiv\u00e9 quatre vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de tulipes pour le centenaire. Ces fleurs aux couleurs vives nomm\u00e9es <\/span>Wings<\/i><\/b>, <\/span>Ad Astra<\/i><\/b>, <\/span>Rescue<\/i><\/b> et <\/span>Flyers<\/i><\/b>comm\u00e9morent la marque durable de l\u2019ARC sur le Canada et soulignent un si\u00e8cle d\u2019excellence en aviation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le bal du centenaire de l\u2019ARF aura lieu le 1er juin 2024 \u00e0 Ottawa et sera tenu \u00e0 guichets ferm\u00e9s. Ce sera une soir\u00e9e historique et m\u00e9morable; il ne s\u2019agit pas d\u2019une simple c\u00e9l\u00e9bration, c\u2019est aussi une r\u00e9flexion sur le cheminement de l\u2019ARC, des Royal Flying Corps et Royal Navy Air Service jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa cr\u00e9ation en 1924 et au-del\u00e0. Les membres des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC), leurs familles et les partenaires communautaires pourront se rassembler afin de reconna\u00eetre les contributions que l\u2019ARC apporte \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9quipe de la D\u00e9fense du Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les membres de Mission de Jeux de l\u2019ARC sont mont\u00e9s sur sc\u00e8ne lors du lancement du tournoi en ao\u00fbt 2023, au grand plaisir des joueurs et des adeptes de sports \u00e9lectroniques. Moins de deux mois plus tard, l\u2019ARC a envoy\u00e9 une \u00e9quipe de quatre joueurs hautement qualifi\u00e9s \u00e0 Los Angeles pour une comp\u00e9tition contre des \u00e9quipes militaires des \u00c9tats-Unis et du Royaume-Uni. C\u2019\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re fois que l\u2019\u00e9quipe de l\u2019ARC participait \u00e0 une comp\u00e9tition, et elle a gagn\u00e9! Le capitaine de l\u2019\u00e9quipe, l\u2019aviateur Ryan Mezzei de la 14e Escadre Greenwood, a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 joueur le plus utile du tournoi. Mission de Jeux de l\u2019ARC prendra de l\u2019ampleur tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e du centenaire gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des jeux comme Rocket League et Forza Motorsports dans le but d\u2019en faire une activit\u00e9 historique pour tous les membres des FAC.<\/span><\/p>\n

Une surprise vous attend au printemps 2024 avec le lancement du documentaire <\/span>Les ailes de l\u2019honneur : Un si\u00e8cle de l\u2019Aviation royale canadienne<\/i><\/b>, produit en collaboration avec la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 g\u00e9ographique royale du Canada. Ce film, qui sera diffus\u00e9 en primeur dans certains endroits dans le monde, raconte l\u2019histoire fascinante de l\u2019aviation au fil des d\u00e9cennies.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019engagement de l\u2019ARC envers les STIM (science, technologie, ing\u00e9nierie et math\u00e9matiques) se concr\u00e9tisera par des foires scientifiques au printemps et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2024. R\u00e9alis\u00e9es en partenariat avec Sciences jeunesse Canada, ces initiatives \u00e9veilleront la curiosit\u00e9 des jeunes du Canada et s\u2019harmonisent \u00e0 la priorit\u00e9 du centenaire de l\u2019ARC qui consiste \u00e0 encourager l\u2019innovation et \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer les leaders de demain.<\/span><\/p>\n

La publication de <\/span>100 objets pour 100 ans : Une histoire pour le centenaire de l\u2019Aviation royale canadienne<\/i><\/b> au printemps 2024 vous fera vivre une aventure litt\u00e9raire. Ce livre est une mine d\u2019information et pr\u00e9sente des aspects moins connus de l\u2019histoire de l\u2019ARC \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019art\u00e9facts des mus\u00e9es de l\u2019ARC des quatre coins du pays.<\/span><\/p>\n

Enfilez vos chaussures de course ce printemps et cet \u00e9t\u00e9 pour participer \u00e0 la <\/span>Course de l\u2019ARC<\/b>, une course sous le th\u00e8me du centenaire qui invite les membres actifs et anciens de l\u2019ARC ainsi que leurs amis et leurs familles \u00e0 \u00e9tablir des liens avec les Canadiens et les Canadiennes gr\u00e2ce au sport et \u00e0 la mise en forme. Vous pourrez prendre part \u00e0 une course dans votre r\u00e9gion ou participer virtuellement. Les participants de tous les niveaux de capacit\u00e9 et de forme physique sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 remporter leurs ailes.<\/span><\/p>\n

La durabilit\u00e9 s\u2019enracinera gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019initiative <\/span>Arbres pour les h\u00e9ros<\/i><\/b> qui se d\u00e9roulera d\u2019octobre 2023 \u00e0 octobre 2024. Des arbres seront plant\u00e9s en forme de cocarde de l\u2019ARC \u00e0 divers endroits au pays et seront une fa\u00e7on unique et durable de comm\u00e9morer le centenaire de l\u2019ARC et son h\u00e9ritage au Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alors que nous entamons cette aventure remarquable pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer le 100e anniversaire de l\u2019ARF, ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements et initiatives forment une mosa\u00efque d\u2019histoire, d\u2019innovation et d\u2019esprit de corps.
