Nous sommes ravis de vous pr\u00e9senter notre premier profil des Gens de la BFC Halifax de 2024 : Kate Chaput! Kate travaille comme administratrice du budget dans la Section du contr\u00f4leur de la base. \u00c0 ce titre, elle est charg\u00e9e de rendre compte de l\u2019affectation des fonds \u00e0 la Base des Force canadiennes (BFC) Halifax, ainsi que des d\u00e9penses et des recettes, aux Services de direction de la base et au quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Forces maritimes de l\u2019Atlantique.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Originaire de Middle Sackville, Kate grandit dans une famille de militaires, ce qui l\u2019am\u00e8ne \u00e0 faire carri\u00e8re \u00e0 la BFC Halifax. Elle a fait des \u00e9tudes en g\u00e9nie architectural au Nova Scotia Community College et poursuit cette ann\u00e9e un baccalaur\u00e9at en commerce \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Saint Mary\u2019s pour faire avancer sa carri\u00e8re dans le domaine des finances au sein de la Marine royale canadienne. Elle aime faire partie de l\u2019\u00e9quipe du contr\u00f4leur de la base et recommande fortement une carri\u00e8re \u00e0 la BFC Halifax. \u00ab Pour quiconque cherche \u00e0 mener une carri\u00e8re occup\u00e9e mais enrichissante, aupr\u00e8s d\u2019un employeur qui favorise une saine conciliation travail-vie priv\u00e9e, la BFC Halifax est un endroit o\u00f9 il fait bon travailler! \u00bb\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En plus de ses t\u00e2ches courantes, Kates a r\u00e9cemment particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la planification et \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de la salle d\u2019\u00e9vasion Hauntings of the Admiralty \u00e0 l\u2019appui de la Campagne de charit\u00e9 en milieu de travail de la D\u00e9fense nationale. Elle a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important dans la conception des \u00e9nigmes de la salle d\u2019\u00e9vasion et a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs jeux en tant que ma\u00eetre du jeu.<\/p>\n

En dehors du travail, Kate fait de l\u2019escalade, joue \u00e0 Donjons et dragons ou se plonge dans sa pile de livres qui ne cesse de s\u2019agrandir. Elle est \u00e9galement ceinture noire en taekwondo.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
