Les nouveaux Halifax Mariners en qu\u00eate d'une m\u00e9daille d'or r\u00e9gionale<\/b><\/h3>\n

Halifax accueillera cette ann\u00e9e le Championnat de hockey masculin de la r\u00e9gion de l'Atlantique des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC) et, apr\u00e8s un r\u00e9sultat d\u00e9cevant l'an dernier, les Mariners de la BFC Halifax esp\u00e8rent renverser la vapeur gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une \u00e9quipe compos\u00e9e de nouveaux visages et de v\u00e9t\u00e9rans.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le ma\u00eetre de 1re classe (M 1) Curtis Chambers, qui a lui-m\u00eame particip\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreux tournois r\u00e9gionaux et nationaux des FAC en hockey et en hockey-balle, est l'entra\u00eeneur de l'\u00e9quipe masculine des Mariners. En plus des huit nouveaux joueurs qui apportent jeunesse et comp\u00e9tence, le M 1 Chambers a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le noyau dirigeant de l'\u00e9quipe, compos\u00e9 des marins de 1re classe Anton et Triston Manson, apporte l'exp\u00e9rience des grands matchs n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 la victoire. Il ajoute que l'\u00e9quipe a eu du temps de glace deux fois par semaine avant le tournoi, ce qui a permis aux nouveaux membres de s'int\u00e9grer au groupe.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Le tournoi se d\u00e9roule au Centre RBC de Dartmouth, qui offre des surfaces de glace plus grandes que la Shearwater Arena, qui accueille habituellement le hockey r\u00e9gional de la FAC.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous pensons que jouer sur une glace plus grande sera un d\u00e9fi pour toutes les \u00e9quipes participantes, mais compte tenu de la vitesse et des comp\u00e9tences de chacune d'entre elles, elles s'adapteront rapidement \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le M 1 Chamber.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous sommes \u00e9galement ravis d'avoir l'occasion de jouer au Centre RBC pour que notre famille et nos amis puissent venir nous voir et pour d\u00e9montrer le talent et le niveau de comp\u00e9tence du programme de hockey des FAC \u00e0 nos voisins civils. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Les \u00e9quipes (Halifax, Shearwater, Greenwood et Gagetown) se r\u00e9uniront le 22 janvier pour s'entra\u00eener et se rencontrer, avant que l'action ne commence proprement le 23 janvier, avec une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d'ouverture pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 8 h 30, suivie du premier match \u00e0 9 h. Les demi-finales auront lieu dans l'apr\u00e8s-midi du 25 janvier, et le match de championnat le lendemain matin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tous sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 regarder et \u00e0 encourager leurs coll\u00e8gues tout au long de la semaine au Centre RBC, situ\u00e9 au 259 Commodore Dr. \u00e0 Dartmouth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le M 1 Chambers a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que si son \u00e9quipe peut allier son niveau de comp\u00e9tence \u00e0 une solide \u00e9thique de travail tout au long de la semaine, elle aura une chance de ramener la BFC Halifax au tournoi national masculin, qui aura lieu en mars \u00e0 Shilo, au Manitoba.<\/span><\/p>\n
