Situ\u00e9e \u00e0\nOttawa, l&#039;\u00e9quipe du patrimoine naval a d\u00fb se contenter d&#039;images envoy\u00e9es par divers parcs \u00e0\nferraille militaires. Tous les objets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 refus\u00e9s, jusqu&#039;\u00e0 ce qu&#039;ils trouvent le vieux canon de\n3&quot;-70 \u00e0 Baker&#039;s Point. Il \u00e9tait abandonn\u00e9 et s&#039;enfon\u00e7ait lentement dans le sol, son histoire \u00e9tant\npresque tomb\u00e9e dans l&#039;oubli.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Le canon 3&quot;-70 r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e9tait principalement utilis\u00e9 sur l&#039;ancien NCSM Gatineau - un navire de\nla classe Restigouche mis en service le 17 f\u00e9vrier 1959. Pendant la guerre froide, le Gatineau a\nparticip\u00e9 \u00e0 divers exercices et op\u00e9rations en tant qu&#039;unit\u00e9 de lutte anti-sous-marine.
