Nous avons le plaisir de vous pr\u00e9senter notre plus r\u00e9cent membre des Gens de la BFC Halifax de la Campagne de charit\u00e9 en milieu de travail de la D\u00e9fense nationale (CCMTDN) : le lieutenant de vaisseau (Ltv) Cody Wylie!<\/p>\n

Le Ltv Wylie est l\u2019officier de pont du Navire canadien de Sa Majest\u00e9 (NCSM) Halifax, o\u00f9 il est charg\u00e9 de superviser l\u2019administration du service du pont du NCSM Halifax. Il travaille avec diligence avec son \u00e9quipe pour s\u2019assurer que les marins du navire progressent dans leur instruction et gardent solides leurs comp\u00e9tences lorsqu\u2019ils sont \u00e0 terre. <\/span>Halifax<\/span><\/i>, where he is responsible for overseeing the administration of HMCS <\/span>Halifax<\/span><\/i>\u2019s Deck Department. He works diligently with his team to ensure the ship\u2019s sailors are progressing their training and keeping their skills sharp while on shore.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Originaire de Whitby (Ontario), le Ltv Wylie s\u2019est enr\u00f4l\u00e9 dans les Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC) en 2011 en tant qu\u2019officier de guerre navale et a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re par des \u00e9tudes militaires et strat\u00e9giques au Coll\u00e8ge militaire royal. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9 \u00e0 Halifax apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu son dipl\u00f4me, o\u00f9 il a servi comme chef de quart \u00e0 la passerelle \u00e0 bord du NCSM Montr\u00e9al et comme officier de la guerre de l\u2019information au sein de l\u2019\u00e9quipage inaugural du NCSM Harry DeWolf.<\/span> Montr\u00e9al<\/span><\/i> and as an Information Warfare Officer in HMCS<\/span> Harry DeWolf\u2019<\/span><\/i>s<\/span> inaugural crew.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tout au long de sa carri\u00e8re dans les FAC, le Ltv Wylie a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses op\u00e9rations militaires importantes. En 2021, il a servi au QG de la 1re Division du Canada \u00e0 Kingston, en Ontario, o\u00f9 il a \u00e9labor\u00e9 des exercices d\u2019entra\u00eenement pour pr\u00e9parer l\u2019\u00c9quipe d\u2019intervention en cas de catastrophe du Canada et, en 2022, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 dans le cadre de l\u2019Op IMPACT\/Force op\u00e9rationnelle au Moyen-Orient \u00e0 titre de planificateur principal pour le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s de la Force op\u00e9rationnelle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, le Ltv Wylie occupe le poste de BPR de la CCMTDN de la Flotte canadienne de l\u2019Atlantique. Il a particip\u00e9 activement \u00e0 l\u2019organisation des activit\u00e9s de la Flotte de la CCMTDN, y compris la maison hant\u00e9e pour les enfants et le concours annuel de soupe et de chili. Il a consid\u00e9r\u00e9 le r\u00f4le de BPR de la CCMTDN comme une occasion de rallier la Flotte et de servir nos collectivit\u00e9s locales. \u00ab Les membres de l\u2019\u00c9quipe de la D\u00e9fense devraient consid\u00e9rer la CCMTDN comme un moyen d\u2019aider leurs voisins lorsqu\u2019ils sont dans le besoin.
