Bren\u00e9 Brown y d\u00e9finit la honte comme\n\u00e9tant la \u00ab peur de la d\u00e9connexion. \u00bb L&#039;id\u00e9e est que les gens ont souvent du mal \u00e0 se\nvaloriser et qu&#039;ils ont donc peur d&#039;\u00eatre vuln\u00e9rables. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">shame<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as \u201cfear of disconnection.\u201d The idea being that people often struggle with their self-worth and consequently are fearful of being vulnerable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Souvent, le concept de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 est per\u00e7u comme une faiblesse plut\u00f4t que comme\nun trait positif. C&#039;est particuli\u00e8rement vrai dans le contexte militaire. Cependant, je crois\nque la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 peut \u00eatre un attribut positif et qu&#039;elle devrait \u00eatre incorpor\u00e9e et\nencourag\u00e9e en tant que caract\u00e9ristique d&#039;un leadership sain dans les Forces arm\u00e9es\ncanadiennes (FAC). Il est essentiel que les leaders des FAC \u00e9tablissent des liens\nsignificatifs avec les autres. Tous les leaders, \u00e0 tous les niveaux de grade dans les\nFAC, peuvent faire preuve de compassion, \u00eatre accessibles et disponibles pour\nencourager les liens coll\u00e9giaux et favoriser un sentiment de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alors, comment g\u00e9rer et aborder les vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s des autres \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re des v\u00f4tres ?\nChacun d&#039;entre nous a des vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s et des niveaux variables d&#039;ouverture \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9gard\nde ces vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s. Il n&#039;est pas facile d&#039;\u00eatre vuln\u00e9rable. Pour \u00eatre vuln\u00e9rable avec les\nautres, il faut \u00e9tablir un rapport et une confiance avec eux - surtout une confiance. Une\nfois cette confiance \u00e9tablie, il est possible de se connecter aux autres et de prendre le\nrisque d&#039;\u00eatre authentique et vuln\u00e9rable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans une culture de la confiance, les autres \u00e9prouveront un plus grand sentiment de\nvaleur et d&#039;appartenance, plut\u00f4t que de la honte ou la peur de la d\u00e9connexion. La prise\nde conscience de cette dynamique peut aider les membres du FAC \u00e0 aborder leurs\ncoll\u00e8gues avec compassion, de sorte que les membres de notre organisation se sentent\nsuffisamment en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 pour s&#039;ouvrir et prendre le risque d&#039;\u00eatre vuln\u00e9rables.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cela dit, la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 a ses limites dans certains contextes. N\u00e9anmoins, il convient de\ntrouver un juste \u00e9quilibre entre leadership et vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9. On ne peut pas\ncat\u00e9goriquement \u00eatre vuln\u00e9rable avec tout le monde, tout le temps. Cependant, vous\npouvez vous assurer qu&#039;il y a dans votre vie des personnes en qui vous avez confiance\net avec lesquelles vous vous permettez d&#039;\u00eatre vuln\u00e9rable afin d&#039;avoir la force d&#039;\u00eatre l\u00e0\npour les autres.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il est important de se rappeler que nous devons faire preuve de la m\u00eame compassion\nenvers nous-m\u00eames, afin de pouvoir faire preuve de compassion envers les autres. Si\nnous ne nous permettons jamais d&#039;\u00eatre vuln\u00e9rables, nous risquons de nous isoler ou de\nnous replier sur nous-m\u00eames, de perdre toute perspective et de nous retrouver en\nmauvaise sant\u00e9 mentale et spirituelle. Nous permettons aux personnes qui nous\nentourent d&#039;\u00eatre vuln\u00e9rables car nous leur montrons l&#039;exemple.
